If the Panthers missed out on hiring Fangio as defensive coordinator there are other good candidates available. Fangio was just one of three subjects to have interviewed for the opening, along with New York Jets safeties coach Marquand Manuel and New Orleans Saints co-defensive coordinator Kris Richard. So, it is not like he is the only good offensive coordinator candidate they will have to chose from.

Florida QB Anthony Richardson has the raw tools to be a really good NFL QB but needs a good QB coach coach to help him become more accurate. I would not consider Richardson a reach if the top three rated QB's in the draft were gone and the Panthers selected him at #9.

The Panthers should be very familiar with Moore after recently interviewing him for the head coaching vacancy. I look for Moore to get hired by some team rather quickly to fill one of the several offensive coordinator openings that are available around the league.

I always though Skip Bayless was missing a screw or two and this statement confirms it. If Bayless had done a little research he would have known a group of 10-15 Panthers players (captains and other leaders) made it well known to the Panthers brass that they understood the Frank Reich hiring and were excited, despite the public support for Steve Wilks. Reich is well respected.
