Hopefully, the Panthers do a lot of research on his injuries. The last thing they need to do is tie up money in a player that stays on injuried reserve.

I like everything about D.J. Chark but admit his injury history bothers me. I wonder how big a concern it is to the Panthers and how it affects the amount they are willing to pay him? https://www.draftsharks.com/fantasy/injury-history/dj-chark/9975

MJ in talks to sell majority stake of Hornets
KatsAzz replied to carpanfan96's topic in Charlotte Hornets
After sitting on top of the world as a winner and one of the very best basketball players in history, then to have to sink down to the this low level as owner of a failing team has to be wearing on M.J.'s mind. -

I am all for showing them optimism.

This is not a back pickup if the Panthers didn't overpay him on his 3 yr. contract. Reports were : The soon to be 33 yr old Thielen has lost a step athletically, but he remains a detailed route-runner with incredible hands. His route-running and knowledge of leverage and spacing help him excel in the red zone; his 30 touchdown catches over the past three seasons trails only Davante Adams, Mike Evans, Travis Kelce, and Tyreek Hill.

Former Panthers QB: “No doubt in my mind” they pick Bryce Young
KatsAzz replied to Cary Kollins's topic in Carolina Panthers
If the clueless, David Carr projects the Panthers will select Bryce Young, it will be a safe bet to believe they will take C.J. Stroud. -
Has Cam Newton submitted his retirement papers yet?
KatsAzz replied to CamWhoaaCam's topic in Carolina Panthers
10 years from now Cam will be 44 years old and someone will start a thread: "Tom Brady Played Into His 40's, Why Not Cam". LOL -
Most likely......

I will gladly second that.

How Carolina can / has already Improved the Passing Game
KatsAzz replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
You made some real valid points in your opening post. However, I would still like to see the Panthers select a potential # 1 type WR in the 2nd rd , or trade down near the top of the 1st rd if one were available. -
Has Cam Newton submitted his retirement papers yet?

Why would Cam Newton waste his time submitting retirement paperwork on something that is so obvious? -
Why Bryce young will be the pick and we should be excited
KatsAzz replied to RIPTreyLance's topic in Carolina Panthers
You summed it up nicely with one qoute: ("Bottom line: Young's candle may burn twice as bright and last half as long.") -

QB C.J. Stroud Growing As Favorite To Be The No. 1 overall Pick In The 2023 NFL draft Jeff Risdon Draft Wire Fri, March 17, 2023 at 8:03 AM EDT The Carolina Panthers have not yet declared which player they’re targeting after trading up to land the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft. However, the sportsbooks have a clear and growing suspicion that the Panthers will select Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud with the first pick. The latest odds update at Fanduel sportsbook lists Stroud as the most likely pick by the Panthers. Stroud is currently -220 to be the top pick, up from -120 a week ago. Bryce Young remains the No. 2 option in the odds at +250, followed by Anthony Richardson at +350. It’s a little different at BetMGM, where Richardson is ahead of Young in the odds to be the top pick. Stroud is an even bigger favorite there; the Buckeyes QB is -250, while Richardson checks in at +300 and Young is +350. -
That is my exact line of thinking! Let the prices drop and get one in the 2nd wave of free agency and then go all out to obtain a real good one in the draft.

Odell Beckham still thinks teams are foolish enough to believe he is an asset. A physically fragile player with the emotional makeup of a spoiled 2 year old. In the end his career will end as one big bust through his years with the Giants, the failed hype of his arrival in Cleveland, (what a circus that turned out to be) and his limited injury ended time with the Rams. Where’s the success? Where’s the positive addition to any team? Now he falls into a coma on the plane and needs to be carted off. My suggestion stay far far away from him. You don’t want him wearing your uniform ever.

Woooo!!! That would a lot of wild trading.

Sadly,you may be right!

If one does research they will find that every QB Frank Reich has liked or been involved with was taller than most. Therefore, I can not see him changing his mindset at this late stage in his career and selecting a QB the size of Bryce Young when a C,J Stroud is there for the taking..

I think Puljujarvy can play tough when he has to.

The McCray signing was a good one due to his versatility along the offensive line while making an appealing option to fill in for Corbett or other players that may not be ready to start the season. Plus, a signing like this would give the offensive a lot of flexibility along the interior offensive line.

If the report that he may have been withholding money is true, then Snyder will be long gone. However, in this day and time one has to take reports with a grain of salt until they are proved factual.
