  1. I am anxious to see RB Chuba Hubbard in action and hope he is all and more that Coach Rhule says he is. If that is indeed the case, we may have gotten a steal drafting him in the 4th round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
  2. I am impressed by the fact the Panthers are quick to evaluate players and make decisions to let them go if they are not up to certain required standards. I like the signing of safety Delano Hill and defensive end Kendall Donnerson but cannot help but be a little concerned about Delano Hills history of back injuries, something that often lingers or could flare up later.
  3. I have never been on board to gut our team just to get Watson. My inner feeling is that Darnold is going to work out just fine. Plus, we are putting pieces in place for him to succeed, lets not mess it up and bring in the malcontented Watson who may decide later this is not the place for him, just like he did in Houston.

  6. The Broncos are going nowhere with Drew Lock and his league-leading interception total; Teddy Bridgewater will serve as a competent bridge piece to whoever the Broncos look at next, but he isn’t the long-term answer.
  7. Exactly. I have the same gut feeling that he either shapes up or he will be shipped out. This is no longer a Jerry Richardson, Ron Rivera, Marty Hurney run team that coddles deadwood that does not meet expectations.
  8. When i saw this was an article that appeared in the "Bleacher Report" I stopped reading.
  9. After checking the Panthers 2021 schedule and taking into consideration their opponents records last year, i can see us having at least a 9-8 record that could be good enough for a wild card berth. This years opponents 2020 record 128-143-1 Win percentage .472
  10. Exactly. We got the Saints as finishers when they were the strongest division team, now the NFL has switched paths and given us the Bucs since they have become stronger than the Saints. What the fug?
  11. Great. Rhule played his cards right and had the correct response to the Bridgewater question.
  12. So glad and fortunate that my wife is a devoted, hard core, Carolina Panthers Fan.
  13. The NFL schedule makers sure do love drama! Four months of hype for Zach Wilson vs. Sam Darnold? Endless talk about the new Jets’ savior vs. the old one? Fantastic. It’s a debate that’s going to linger for years, so might as well start it early. Also, assume Darnold and the Panthers have the big edge in Round 1, considering it’ll be the then-22-year-old Wilson’s first NFL start.
  14. Zach Wilson's NFL first workouts as a quarterback for the New York Jets are in the books. Wilson, along with his fellow 2021 draftmates and undrafted free agents, commenced rookie minicamp last Friday. Wilson said it didn't take long to notice the difference between the college and pro game. "A lot of thinking. Way more thinking than you typically want to do in football, but that's a Day 1 kind of thing," he told reporters Saturday. "I really think it just comes down to the scheme part of it, how much more detailed and complicated, to a point. And I think that's what makes it so special.
  15. Olivia Culpo works the "POLE" for Christian McCaffrey. Nuff said
  16. The Panthers franchise had held camp at the Spartanburg, S.C. college every year since the team’s first season in 1995. It was previously unclear how many more times the team would return due to the building of the new team headquarters and facilities in Rock Hill. Due to COVID-19, the opening of that site has been delayed and training camp is not scheduled to move there until 2023 after previously being scheduled to open in Summer 2022.
  17. https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-discussions-wofford-college-bring-211346560.html Panthers in discussions with Wofford College to bring training camp back to Spartanburg 1 / 5 Panthers in discussions with Wofford College to bring training camp back to Spartanburg Alaina Getzenberg Tue, May 11, 2021, 5:13 PM·1 min read The Carolina Panthers are taking the next steps to return to Wofford College for training camp in 2021. “We are in discussions with Wofford College and are excited about the possibility of returning to Spartanburg for training camp,” a team spokesperson said in a statement. When reached by The Observer, Wofford College deferred comment to the Panthers. The Panthers held training camp at Bank of America Stadium last year due to a league-wide rule that forced all teams to hold camps at their practice facilities in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19. The team extended their partnership with a two-year contract that originally went from 2020 through 2021. Fewer and fewer teams are holding camps away from their facilities. Last year, only eight other teams were scheduled to do so: Bills, Colts, Cowboys, Chiefs, Rams, Raiders, Steelers and Washington.

MadHatter. I hope you are enjoying good health and living in the state of Ohio. I recently retired and my wife and i moved from Charlotte N.C. and bought a house in the Eastern part of Gastonia N.C.. We like living here much better. Take care. Hope to take later.

  19. Aaron Rodgers is not going anywhere. This whole charade was likely orchestrated by Rodgers agent to try to squeeze every penny he could out of the Packers. Rodgers will be a Packer for at least a couple more years.
  20. This was an awesome video on how terrible the Jets offensive line was, plus how confused they caused Darnold to seem while obviously flustrated. Hopefully, with better weapons, coaching and a decent offensive line this was just an once in a career disaster for him and he will have a long successful career with us.
  21. We all realize the Panthers will be in a very tough division in 2021 which will now go through, until proven otherwise, Tom Brady and the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Matt Rhule’s team will need time to figure themselves out, something you don’t often get in the NFL. A new quarterback, a healthy star player, and new off-season additions will all have to be added to a team still trying to figure out what its identity will be. Once settled in the Panthers will be a top-heavy roster that is well-coached, and plays to its competition. One who wins games with a gun-slinging big-play mentality behind our new quarterback Sam Darnold
