I agree 100% with your assessment of the inept,dude of a coach, Rhule. However, we need look no further than Tepper himself as the man responsible for approving these type actions that are putting the Panthers building plans in complete reverse.

And if i am not mistaken Rhule and company had him rated as a guard. Go figure!

Rhule’s honeymoon period is finished and truly over as far as the fanbase is concerned. His management of situational football doesn’t seem to be improving and the clock issues and third-quarter production are ongoing concerns that are holding this team back. There is no doubting that Rhule is on the hot seat with the fans because what we want to see is progression year-on-year en route to becoming a leading contender sooner rather than later and it is just not happening. If it had been my decision, Rhule a college coach and not a great one, would never have been hired . I would love to see him gone like yesterday but considering some of the bad decisions Tepper has made,I would not be surprised if he gives Rhule another year, which in my opinion would be a big,big mistake.

The good is that the Panthers are always tied with the other team after the initial kick off. But after that.......

I am inclined to agree. The Falcons are not as bad as their record indicates, so the Panthers will have to play an "A Plus" game if they are going to have a chance to win.

Personally, Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh, would be my first choice for the Panthers to draft but would not be unhappy if they selected Howell.

My guess is that Sam Howell will be the 2nd, 3rd (maybe 4th) QB taken off the board in the 2022 NFL Draft.

I’m calling it now, we’re changing Kenny Pickett‘s nickname to Kenny ‘The Mailman’ Pickett because he delivers in any weather. Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays Pickett from the swift completion of his accurately-placed passes. The Mailman is fifth in the country with 3,517 passing yards and fourth with 32 touchdowns through the air. Pickett is the only quarterback with at least 330 pass attempts and 4 or fewer interceptions to his credit this season. Pickett has demonstrated all the requisite on-field skills to rise on NFL draft boards, and he maintains his top spot on these QB rankings. The fifth-year senior has become Pitt’s all-time leader in passing yards (11,501), passing touchdowns (71), completions (971), and he has his sights set on even more Pitt records. Rewriting the record books at a university is one thing, breaking records held by players like Dan Marino and Alex Van Belt is another. I know very little about Kenny Pickett, so what would be your knock on him as an NFL QB?

I have zero faith in Rhule and company pertainingg to the 2022 NFL Draft. It would not surprise me if we trade out of our number 1 draft position, passing up on a blue chipper to obtain more choices and screw up on every one of the picks we gained.

Kenny Pickett, Pittsburgh Kenny Pickett‘s rapid ascension isn’t quite done yet. He’s dominating the action and is currently the top quarterback in our College QB Rankings. When it comes to NFL projection, however, he’ll have to weather the ever-important “hand measurement” during postseason All-Star and NFL Combine periods. If you look at his ability on the field, his hand size shouldn’t matter. He clearly hasn’t had any ball security issues and can spin the football with ease. There are few that have his mileage, as the fifth-year player has gone the distance for Pittsburgh. Still, Pickett has continually developed over his five seasons and has capped it off with one of the better college football passing seasons we’ve seen in some time. His rise is certainly similar to that of Joe Burrow or Zach Wilson of the past two draft classes.

If WR Steve Smith had started under Rhule and company he would probably been cast as a kick returner and never been considered a WR. Of course we all know you have to be at least 6 ft plus to be a wide receiver in the NFL,right Rhule?

When i hear the word playoffs associated with a losing record team like the Panthers, i cannot help but think of Jim Moras playoff rant.

For the remaining five games I forecast - Game 1. Atlanta Loss - Game 2. Buffalo Loss - Game 3. Tampa Bay Loss - Game 4. New Orleans Toss Up - Game 5. Tampa Bay Win, only if they rest their starters. If corrrect it would mean we lose at least 3 or 4 of the 5 remaining games, with a question mark pertaining to Tampa Bay, our last game.
