  1. Hoefully someone will get us an update on the state of his health.
  2. If Florida QB, Anthony Richardson can be coached up to the fullest extend of his great physical abilities and become a more accurate passer, you could very well be correct.
  3. That could very well be the case that he felt like he deserved to be # one elsewhere. However, Foreman was a bruising RB, a type the Panthers will need to wear down the other teams defense even if it's in a backup role..
  4. If UNC QB Drake Maye doesn't get some serious injury, he is going to make some fortunate NFL team a very, very good QB.
  5. (" The Falcons' defense is not like the UGA defense." ) So true, they may not be as good. ") LOL
  6. He was very fortunate to be raised by such a loving and caring father. Sadly, a lot of kids don't get to have that advantage.
  7. R.I.P. Chris Smith I didn't know who he was but it is always sad to hear news like this. Prayers are extended to his family
  8. I agree. It should really be an exciting 2023 NFL draft and a real important one for the Panthers future..
  9. One should never say never but I cannot see the Panthers trading away the valuable #1 overall 2023 NFL Draft Pick. The #1 draft Pick gives new head coach Frank Reich the ability to go get whoever he sees as the best player. It appears very apparent the Panthers are going to draft a QB with this selection and this year's draft class features four QB's expected to get drafted high. Keeping the # 1 Overall Pick allows the Panthers to pick their top choice and they seem to be really interested in Alabama's Bryce Young and Ohio State's C.J. Stroud, with lots of expects saying they have already decided on drafting Young. The Panthers haven't had stability at the position since Cam Newton left, so if they are locked onto a certain QB ,I cannot see them doing some kind of trade that would hurt their chance of obtaining him..
  10. Quarterbacking as a rookie in the NFL is so hard that most first-year guys don’t even get a chance to try it, so talking about making a Pro Bowl is somewhat premature in my opinion. The Panthers # 1 QB draft choice will probably be the the day one starter, unlike most rookie QB's that sit out a year before they try their hand. So my expectation level will be for him to just play solid, winning football, learn all he can while adjusting to the speed of the NFL game and let the accolades come when he earns them.
  11. I am picking the Cardinals to get the 1st draft pick followed closely by Tampa Bay getting the # 2 draft pick.
  12. 2023 NFL Mock Draft - Charlie Campbell WalterFootBall.Com Senior Draft Analyst Last update: Monday, April 17, Most Correct Mock Picks in Major NFL Draft Media: 2014 and 2017. 2nd in 2021 Led all NFL media in correct picks for the 2017, 2019, and 2022 NFL Draft2nd Place in all NFL media with correct picks for 2021 # 1 Draft Choice NFL Team Logo for Panthers Carolina Panthers: Bryce Young, QB, Alabama Carolina is desperate for a quarterback and gave up a ton to acquire the first pick of the 2023 NFL Draft. Here at No. 1, I could see the Panthers debating whether to take C.J. Stroud because his pocket passing could be a positive to Frank Reich - given his work with Matt Ryan, Carson Wentz and Philip Rivers in Indianapolis -, but Young is probably the favorite of ownership and the front office. Some team people say they think Carolina wants Young, although others think the franchise wants Stroud. With the final rounds of draft meetings and visits coming up, the Panthers have a few more weeks to build a consensus on who they want to work with as their future franchise quarterback. Right now, I am leaning toward Young, but my choice could definitely change. Young is a true assassin on the football field capable of taking over games and carrying his team to wins. He is a very accurate passer, showing superb placement, a fantastic ability to throw into tight windows, and excellent feel. Games look slowly paced for Young, whose natural instincts are off the charts. He is also a dangerous runner who offers superb escapability and is extremely dangerous to make plays off schedule. The only knock on Young ( A little over 5-10, 204 Lb. ) is his size, but he was durable overall in his two years as a starter in the SEC. In 2022, Young completed 65 percent of his passes for 3,328 yards, 32 touchdowns and five interceptions. He picked up four touchdowns on the ground as well. Young took over as Alabama's starting quarterback in 2021, and there was a lot of hype about him in the scouting community. Some NFL sources believe Young's skill set and style of play are similar to those of Kyler Murray. In 2021, Young completed 67 percent of his passes for 4,872 yards, 47 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
  13. The way the United States is shaping up and the direction it looks like it's heading ,these countries are beggining to look better and better. LOL
  14. Cheer up. He could be right on this one because even a blind squirrel will eventually find an acorn. LOL
  15. That pretty much sums up my feeling as well. The Panthers have some fine coaches that are very capable of evaluating QB's, so whoever they chose I will applaud and gladly support. I think both QB's will excel in the NFL and Bryce Young will prove his size doesn't matter and prove his doubters, which I once was, wrong.
