Canes vs Devils Round 2 Game 3 3:30 puck drop
KatsAzz replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
The $5,000 fine could not have happened to a more deserving player. -
I am excited about watching our new franchise QB Bryce Young, a player that proves a lot of winning football games starts above the shoulders and not just the arms and legs.

I do too. We will need him. -
I find it sort of strange that DE Yannick Ngakoue, after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars has played on four teams in the last three seasons, getting traded three times. However, regardless of where he is playing, Ngakoue has proven to be a great pass rusher. He has recorded at least eight sacks in every season of his career. In addition to the sacks, he has at least six tackles for loss and 11 quarterback hits in every season as well.

Now that was funny!! I can see had the word "Banned" was earned. LOL

Thanks. Great summary and evaluation.

I could not agree more, football games are meant to be played to win.

A 4-2 win would be great. -
These international games have been doing well in terms of ticket sales, but It has yet to be clearly known whether the NFL is turning an overall profit from the series. At the very least, the overseas matchups are increasing awareness of American football and extending the sport’s popularity across the globe.

I hope Mayfield is good enough to split games with the Saints and Falcons and bad enough to lose both the games with the Panthers this season.

Canes Vs Devils Game 2 Round 2 8pm
KatsAzz replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
Congratulations. This should be a win-win for you. -
If the Panthers decide on signing one of the three, Leonard Floyd, Clowney or Ngakoue, I just hope they have done their homework and sign the one that will fit the teams defensive scheme the best.
-
It is great that Bucs executive Bruce Arians hold his QB Baker Mayfield in such high regard before the season starts, lets check back and see if he has those same feeling when the 2023 season ends.

Yes it was. -
The picture makes one wonder what team the guy in Stroud jersey is a fan of?

Unless Bryce Young gets hurt between now and the seasons start, he should have earned the right to be the Panthers starting QB, anything you hear different is just so much coach talk.

Great idea. Please keep on watching replays the rest of the playoffs. LOL -
The 30 year old Leonard Floyd would be a pickup if the Panthers could get him at a reasonable price.

Another one falls into the trap that is Sam Darnold
KatsAzz replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
I knew Sam Darnold had limited processing ability after watching him play just a few games, among other negative traits that cannot be coached out. Sadly,I feel any team that is depending on him being their starting QB is holding a losing hand they will eventually have to fold. -
Panthers invite XFL player to mini camp

Jordan Thomas NFL Draft 2018: Scouting Report for Houston Texans' Pick Sam Craft/Associated Press POSITIVES —Height/weight/speed superstar (6'5", 265 pounds, 4.74-second 40-yard dash). —JUCO basketball player that moves well for his massive size. —Comes back to the ball and makes plays for his quarterback. —Matchup nightmare for small safeties and slow linebackers. —Played some offensive tackle and can hold his own as a run- and pass-blocker. NEGATIVES —Limited receiving production at Mississippi State. —Position changes led to him being behind in terms of fundamentals at tight end. —Height/weight/speed are his best attributes, but they also might be his only attributes. —For being a massive tight end, he doesn't play or test strong (16 reps on the bench press). —Can't track the ball or do much up the middle of the field. OVERALL Thomas is a big, athletic tight end prospect who hasn't solidified himself into a role. His size makes him an ideal fit as an in-line blocker, but he doesn't play with great strength. His 4.74-second time in the 40 makes he seem like a great athlete, but he wasn't all that productive as a pass-catcher. He isn't likely to hear his name called during the draft, and he may struggle to make a team as a camp signing. GRADE: 5.00 (Priority Free Agent) PRO PLAYER COMPARISON: Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Jacksonville Jaguars -

BetCarolina.com, the ones saying the franchise’s fans are amongst the most obsessive in the entire NFL, must frequent the Carolina Huddle to form their opinions. LOL -
Potential $1.2B Panthers stadium renovation discussion
KatsAzz replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
It should have been a big positive for all Panther fans when Tepper said he had no plans to move the team out of Charlotte and is seriously considering a renovation to Bank of America Stadium that would prolong its life for at least another decade rather than pushing for another new stadium immediately. -
