  1. I am a long time owner of a conceal and carry permit and have two 9mm Glock handguns and one Ruger .380.
  2. Chris Simms opinion is not shared by a lot of NFL Scouts and other top QB evaluators. I am not real interested in peoples present opinion of Panthers QB Bryce Young but the opinions given at the end of the season are the ones that will get my attention.
  3. I realize the odds are against the 6'2" 310 lb Antwuan Jackson making the team but it would be a great feel good story if he beat the odds and at least made the practice squad.
  4. ANTWUAN JACKSON DT OHIO STATE | 2023 NFL DRAFT PROFILE AND SCOUTING REPORT Strengths: Short, stumpy build so he typically wins the leverage battle. When he does so, Chapman can be tough to move, even showing the ability to handle double-teams. Strong tackler. Has good power in hands and can anchor, shed, and chase. Played with good leverage, even on the nose, despite average bulk. Hustle defender with a good bull rush inside that can close and get home when quarterbacks leave the pocket. Lacks the size to compete as a traditional defensive tackle and is a projection to any other position. Played with lean and leverage against the run, tough for one man to move (sometimes double-teams, too). Weaknesses: Might be limited to one-gap systems. Agility isn't a question but misses tackles when he doesn't square and break down. Only adequate burst off the snap even when directly over the ball, and his initial pop leaves room to be desired. Hands could be much more violent when trying to gain control of the block. Does not hold his ground while facing a double-team; first instinct is to roll away to make a play, which can create a large hole. Has limited range and is more of a run-stuffer who won't make many plays in the backfield - a mid-round, prospect who should be able to offer depth along the defensive line in any scheme. Isn't able to consistently shed blocks and makes plays in the hole.
  5. I have been use to disappointment for a long long.
  6. 10 wins would be great. However, I will settle for the Panthers having a 9-8 record this year and winning the NFC South.
  7. I am surprised more NFL teams aren't following the Saints formula.
  8. Well stated. I fully agree with you.
  9. That was a good, heads up pertaining to Jarvis.
  10. Thanks for the informative, heads up explanation.

  12. We had our bad game, got it out of our system, now it's full speed ahead.
  13. I agree with you that both Beason and Moton deserve to be there too.
  14. Jake Delhomme, one of my all favorite Carolina Panthers, conducted a good interview and Bryce Young came across as being very well spoken, humble, mature and level headed.
  15. Exactly!!! Forget the rough stuff, just get back to playing to win.
  16. I can see signing Cam Ervin because of the much needed, solid OL depth. Just hope the Panthers OL jells considering the injuries that have happened..
  17. It certainly would be a surprise, a big surprise. if Austin Proehl made the team in any form or fashion. If a player is 27 years old and still trying to make an NFL team for the first time, the odds against success would have to be almost overwhelming.
  18. Greg Olsen seems to be a natural broadcasting talent behind the mike pertaining to football, something Tom Brady has not shown so far.
  19. Jonathan Mingo NFL Draft Scouting Report WR, Ole Miss Rebels Jonathan Mingo is a senior receiver for the Ole Miss Rebels that has played in more than 40 games during his time at Ole Miss. Throughout Mingo’s career, he has continued to develop and carve out a bigger role for himself. He posted his best season in 2022 with a regular season stat line of 48 receptions, 800 yards, and five touchdowns. As a receiver prospect, Mingo has a noticeable physical presence. Listed at 6-foot-2 and 225 pounds, Mingo has a well-proportioned frame with a muscular upper body and a dense lower half. This frame helps Mingo be an effective receiver in multiple ways. As a route-runner facing press coverage, Mingo has shown the ability to use his strength and quickness to play through defensive backs in press coverage and quickly get into his route. Once Mingo has the ball in his hands, he also uses his strength to become a difficult receiver to tackle for defensive backs. Mingo has a physical approach to getting yards and has consistently been a difficult tackle for defensive backs. Mingo’s physical presence running with the ball after the catch appears to be his best trait as a player. He should be utilized as a player that teams quickly get the ball to, putting him in situations to pick up yards after the catch. Mingo’s areas of improvement as a player start with what appears to be a lack of true down-the-field speed. Once Mingo wins at the line of scrimmage he has a tough time truly separating from defensive backs vertically. This results in him usually having to make a contested catch in man-to-man coverage. Mingo has shown he can make contested catches but he usually lets the ball drop into his hands versus him going up to catch the ball at the highest point, which gives defensive backs an opportunity to make a play on the ball. Overall, Mingo’s run-after-the-catch ability and dense frame make him an intriguing wide receiver prospect. In the right offense that uses quick screens and jet motions for their receivers, Mingo has the ability to be a highly productive player on the next level.
