  1. The best thing Rhule ever did for this franchise was not drafting Justin Fields because that dude is hot garbage. I’ll take my chances with Bryce any day.
  2. Even Charles Davis calling out our terrible WRs inability to get open, yet we’ve got dudes on here acting like we’ve got 4 DK Metcalfs running wide open every play.
  3. How can the Jets rationalize not signing a vet like Colt McCoy or someone who can at least keep you in games? The rest of their team is pretty good but Zach Wilson is a borderline XFL quarterback. Saleh is sabotaging his whole team sticking with him.
  4. Every QB misses guys, that's the NFL. Tua has improved dramatically from his rookie season to now. Why? Experience. Coaching. Weapons. How many of those does Bryce have right now?
  5. That wasn't even in the same stratosphere as what Olave did.
  6. New Orleans has at least 2, probably 3, receivers better than our WR1. Nobody on our team could've made that catch.
  7. A very vocal group of media/fans were calling Tua a bust and wanted Miami to dump him for Watson... until they got him a coach who played to his strengths and some talented weapons on the outside. A QB can't do everything, especially when he's not being put in situations to succeed.
  8. Hard to tell if he's unsure and not confident in himself, or the offensive game plan is giving him poo to work with. Probably both.
  9. Honest question. We supposedly upgraded everywhere (except WR), including an all-star coaching staff, and we look slow, undisciplined, confused, almost scared. This is atrocious to watch.
  10. Fields ain’t it. Missing on him wasn’t a big deal.
  11. He was very open about his depression and mental health struggles while at Ole Miss. Not saying this is anything related to that, but it’s definitely weird. Hope dude’s okay.
  12. As long as we can escape preseason without any major injuries, I consider it a win. I trust the coaching staff to clean stuff up before the regular season. Tonight was garbo though, no doubt.
  13. I remember wondering that first year why he wasn’t given an opportunity at QB. It was obviously a lost (tank) year, and the trash cans we were trotting out at QB weren’t just bad, they provided zero excitement. At least AE was athletic. If I’m remembering correctly, we brought Brian St Pierre in off the street and had him start after like a week of practice. You telling me AE couldn’t have done that? Come on now.
  14. Bryce, Dalton, Corral now the only QB's on the roster.
  15. And that's why I have faith in the BY pick. We have an excellent coaching staff. This isn't Matt Rhule and Mike Shula sending a dude out there to get wrecked over and over. We actually have coaching now. And an offensive line. And some decent playmakers. Any Panther fan who sat around and watched Brees carve us up twice a year for a freaking decade and is STILL harping about size blows my mind.
  16. Per Albert Breer: https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2023/03/30/2023-nfl-draft-panthers-bryce-young-frank-reich-blown-away/?utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=facebook&fbclid=IwAR0g5CaniLcipHuu7XlDKTxOw0eNGFmtxQ9IVybYSJCI0b1fSTMKCGUFWd8
  17. Enduring one of Adam Gase and Matt Rhule would set you back years, but BOTH? I feel bad for the dude. I don't think he's a Pro Bowler either, but I'm rooting for him to succeed (unless it's against us). Seems like a solid team player.
  18. I don’t disagree you may have to overpay a little, but if he’s an upgrade to what we currently have, I wouldn’t mind slightly overpaying for a better player. We watched Gettleman dumpster dive to put pieces around Cam and outside of the one year where Cam was a legitimate superhero, that frugality showed.
  19. Which makes the second wave even worse than it normally is.
  20. Come on man, you can’t trade the farm for #1 and surround him with pieces from the bargain bin. Go get him some dudes. We have money.
  21. I think they’re leaning Stroud too, but if Young was a few inches taller he’d be a no-brainer #1 in the mold of Lawrence and Burrow. He just does everything so well and has a ridiculously high football IQ. He was also coached hard by Bill O’Brien, who has that NFL experience. I honestly think he was a better QB at Alabama than both Hurts and Tua. And they’ve both translated well (minus Tua’s brutal concussions).
