  2. For those who run...any of ya'll ever listen to audio books instead of music?? I like music, don't get me wrong..but it's getting old and a tad repetitious. Just wondering if it's easy to follow along..or if you tend to zone out
  3. haha....I'm actually really surprised she does as well as she does... it's also at 6 in the morning..it's dark and most squirrels sleep in to at least 7
  4. My dog, Izzy that I got two 1/2 weeks ago is so awesome, I have trained her to run right beside me. We've now run twice both times 3 miles...she kicks ass... I now have a running partner who I don't have to worry about talking and irritating me

  8. Cat....I will say that 1500 calories sounds low for a grown man though...for you and me it's ok...but a 180-200 lb man...
  9. Agree with Salty...unless you're comatose..never put in Sedentary. I don't know what's telling you that 6 oz of chicken, green beans and olive oil are 159 calories, but they're lying olive oil alone is 120 calories per tablespoon. So you're probably eating way more calories than you think you are. What's your goal weight? It's not exact...but take your goal weight..and add a zero and that's the caloric intake you aim for....my goal weight was 130 lbs...so I aimed for 1300 calories a day. I use Livestrong.com....that's really worked for me. Buy a food scale as well. You'll be surprised at how little 4 or 6 oz of meat really is and how big our portions really are http://www.livestrong.com/myplate/
  10. this is exactly what I did...got tired of being Fatty McButterpants...got off my ass, joined a gym and went 4-5 times a week. Got up at 4:30 to be at the gym by 5:10 or so..then back home to get ready for work. it sucked...it sucked the big one..but then I really started to lose weight and ppl were starting to notice..which fueled that motivation train even more Now, 50 lbs lighter..I'm still working out..and I'm happy.. Just get started!
