    Hopefully whatever back we draft doesn't let the ball hit him in the face.

    The point would be to be a head coach. Help build and shape and develop a full roster not just call a mediocre offense.

    Hindsight would say to trade him of course . But at the time we were all saying ride him straight into the playoffs before he got banged up. Its hard to be upset with them for not making that move.

    Well that's typically what gets most every coordinator their HC job if we're being fair. But only certain head coaches have proven they can do it at a high level. His main priority is game time management and building the type of locker room culture to implement his teachings across the board.

    And also God yes on going back to the 4-3. Most teams base defense at this point is nickle or multiple anyhow but I've never been a fan of a 3-4 setup.

    Hes going to want a 3 year deal from someone. I hate that it cant be us realistically but our strategy is clear. We will spend money on the offensive line and plug and play mid tier free agents at RB and build through the draft. Thats the way to go to be honest. Defense defense defense is the key now.

    Im not super familiar with Izdik tbh. Is he someone Dave is grooming or is he OC in name only and a glorified position coach and Analyst?

    I was thinking this earlier. Ain't that some poo. However and I haven't looked up the stats yet. It feels like we saw the first real season of progression from him as a whole give or take 3 or so games. Vs when it was 1 good for every 5 bad.

    Yeah I came into this game honestly just happy to be here like a virgin on prom night. Now its about consistency. I can sleep well disappointed but also hopeful.

    Yeah thats kinda what I figured. Consider it a quip more than anything. He was just the first name that came to mind while thinking of a type. Lots of motions and things to make your dink and dunk work better.

    Take the play calling duties from Dave. Much like Bryce its far too up and down. Gets cute at the worst times. I don't have a guy in mind though I do love McDaniels offense. If Bryce is your guy then I suppose the best west coast type you can find and plug him in. In addition pay the offensive line coach whatever he wants. Hes done a wonderful job this year.

    Im not certain a receiver is needed to be honest. If developed properly they're coming along despite the XL project. Middle of the defense. Id look at LT in the draft if one falls to you as we may have just witnessed a blowout. But the front 7 overall on D is the biggest fix that needs to be made and development needs to begin on an additional QB.

    Ive seen enough to say the first pick of the draft doesn't need to be QB. But backup certainly needs an upgrade. We need help BAD in the middle of the defense.

    Been calling him out in every game thread all year for living and dying by quarters. It's lazy and gets exposed every time you play against a qb that's been in the league longer than 5 minutes.
