Three top 10 QB's refused to play for Matt Rhule.
X-Clown replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
It’s not just Rhule’s terrible coaching, it’s the clusterfug of direction that we have. They started out by saying this a process, that we want to build the right way, etc. That right way is just to assume whatever QB you delude yourself into pursuing is the missing piece, whether it’s a journeyman with limited skill set who is OK if the rest of the team is perfect (bridgewater), a lifetime project QB who you think you can fix just because he was a top 3 pick (darnold). Stafford and Wilson came from organizations that failed to build around them, are on the back 9 of their career and are smart enough to disagree that they aren’t the missing piece on a flawed team to winning a super bowl. The fact we had to try so hard for Watson only to be overtaken by a largely untalented falcons team who wasn’t even looking at him until he reached out speaks volumes that it’s an organizational issue. -
Garry must have forgot to wear his green today.

@CPantherKing Still think Tepper is pulling the strings and it’s all a ruse?
-
He then posts “this is my personal speculation” of course lol

Imagine posting this thread and thinking you are insightful.

Yeah this is probably where we are headed. Rhule loved him when he was at Baylor.
-
They extended Roby’s contract last night which is supposed to free up more space. I just can’t doubt their ability to make stuff happen anymore.
-
I’m investing in him now

For the few people that are convinced despite John Mara saying that he would not be trading for Watson, they just signed Tyrod Taylor
-
Yeah nevermind - saw somewhere else in his timeline he said that Jarvis Landry was signing with the Chiefs 19 hours ago. I edited my post

Try it to read it slowly.... Houston wants the Panthers to have the "winning" trade offer, i.e. the one that Deshaun says "yes I will waive my no trade clause for this deal, please send me there" because it's going to net them the most assets in return. Of course they want the Panthers to lose more games once the trade happens too. That's not what the original poster was saying.
-
They want to take our deal as it’s the best offer. Why is this so hard?
-
He is meeting with the Browns today. Ben Allbright is claiming it’s just for show. A random guy in Twitter called him out about that and Allbright posted he would give $1000 to a charity of the guys choice if Watson ends up in Cleveland

So your source to believe on this topic is a random person on Twitter/Facebook. Clearly you have nothing meaningful to contribute. Stop quoting me until you do.
-
All snopes did was just summarize the half ass logic of what some random idiot on twitter or facebook shared that chuds were accepting as facts without any real thought. Do you have anything to refute about the source or not? If not, then stop quoting me and move on.

So you believe that 50% of current NFL players have a felony? What is your source? Go ahead, show your work.

Are the Broncos following the Rams formula?

Why would they go after mccaffrey when they have Williams and Gordon? Did Marty hurney sign on as GM? -
I do not understand this move at all. I thought the whole point of drafting tremble was to move on from Thomas and now you resign him for 3 years? I thought the Jaguars overpaid Manhertz, but we doubled his pay for someone who is not much better.

Breer on Tepper, Rhule and the Panthers quarterback options

I skipped over his post, and just read yours. My bad. -

Winning percentage is not a QB stat as much as the talking heads love to quote it. It’s pretty easy to win playoff games if you only need to complete 6 passes and can just hand off and let your defense crush teams into oblivion. My take is that garroppolo (like goff) is nothing special, he’s just played on good teams that take him along for the ride. If it meant anything, then why would the Rams trade “winning” quarterback Jared Goff to get “losing” quarterback Matt Stafford?
