  1. Not fully accurate, but close enough to make a point. Sam played in the 4th quarter of the ATL game, but they scored the TD after he got knocked out of the game with injury. He didn’t play in the first quarter Sunday either… but no TDs against TB, NE, ATL (while he was in) and the giants (although I think Walker played the entire 4th). Vikings game was the week before the giants.
  2. Nice flex and nice of you to share the last 4 digits of your CC with the huddle.
  3. I’d argue that 2010 was the worst, fox was completely checked out since he was a lame duck and so was the rest of the team. Brian St. Pierre got a start and there was a legit portion of the fan base who wanted to see Armanti Edwards get a game at QB.
  4. If there’s something on the huddle that never changes over the years it’s people who somehow blame PSL holders for the team sucking, usually from someone who would never go to a game in person unless the tickets were free and/or they are winning.
  5. This isn’t that much different from JRs days. I remember Darin Gantt being “reassigned” to Winthrop sports after he wrote about some critical leaks that JR didn’t like.
  6. I don’t even think fans were really booing Sam Darnold as much as they were booing Rhules stupid QBs as relief pitchers idea that he keeps going with. After Sam completed the big pass boos also came out when they put Cam back in.
  7. Don’t worry there’s plenty of apathy. The booing and fire rhule chants were just from the fans who bothered to show up. There were significantly more Tampa fans in attendance.
  8. lol man we really fuging fail at all of those things
  9. I love how he thought posting that made him feel like he owned everyone.
  10. Oh I’m sure this guy would have been one of T E B O W just wins games guys if he was here in 2011
  11. You literally posted that he can't throw, and have defended a racist poster more strongly than you've ever supported Cam. It's clear what you think, no need to soften your stance.
  12. I found it funny that Rhule thinks of himself as a tactician by "keeping people guessing" on what he's going to do at QB on Sunday. Like any of that poo is going to stop Vita Vea, JPP, Shaq Barrett and company from getting through the turnstiles to nail whoever is unfortunate enough to be in the game. Joe Judge is trying the same BS right now in not announcing whether Mike Glennon or Jake Fromm is starting.
  13. Is it a surprise? The guy is so eager to spend time being "objective" about Cam being lousy that he's admitted to posting on the huddle in this thread while driving in his car.
  14. Foles was a fraud too, but can you honestly say without UNC homer glasses on that Mitchell's play deserved a 24.8 million dollar 5th year option and/or a major contract extension? My first post in the thread said that yes, Nagy's system sucks. But you're at the same time saying that Fields supposively sucks because his stats aren't good and they aren't winning? I also see little to no difference in how both QBs performed in their rookie year, not sure why you're categorizing that one was so much better than the other. If the expectation was that Fields was going to come in on day one an immediately elevate the team to a super bowl contender, that's just ridiculous. It was Nagy after all who signed Andy Dalton in the offseason and lauded Andy as his starter when healthy until it was clear that was a terrible idea. And yes, the Bears are better off paying Fields who has more upside and is on a rookie deal than Trubisky at 25 million plus. Mitchell is better than Darnold and Walker I will concede that, although it isn't saying much. But I can't imagine that he would fare much better in Matt Rhule's poo system either.
  15. Yet he openly campaigned to have mods ban people for saying mean words about Darnold and bends over backwards to come up with excuses for his poo play
  16. Rivera was here for 8 years, not exactly the same situation as Rhule. Sometimes if you know the HC is the wrong one, it’s not a bad thing to admit your mistake and move on. As far as not being able to attract a good coach because of how Rhule was treated with only getting 2 years….what about Kyle shanahan going to the 49ers after giving Chip Kelly one season? Freddie kitchens only got one year and the browns cut bait and clearly upgraded with Stefanski. Mike malarkey only had 2 years in Tennessee, before they hired Mike Vrabel who likely will have his 3rd playoff berth in 3 years. Steve wilks only got 1 year from the cardinals before they ended up getting Kliff kingsbury. I know we have an inferiority complex, but I think we can and will do better than Matt Rhule.
  17. It’s only fitting in a thread about a great accomplishment for any player (much less a QB that has played the majority of his career with our team) that we have a “panthers fan” come into to do some mental gymnastics and say that he’s a bad passer and insinuate it’s not that big of a deal because it’s just “stealing TDs from running backs”. As soon as I saw the thread title I knew what it would evolve to, about as predictable as Matt Rhules press conferences.
  18. Win-loss records are not a QB statistic. If they were then maybe your boy would have gotten a starting job this off-season, or would have had his 5th year option picked up.
  19. No I would realize that he’s a rookie and works with a poo coach that doesn’t design the offense to his strengths. Even with all of that being said, He’s certainly been better than Zach Wilson, and at least on par with Trevor Lawrence so I don’t understand the hyperbole mountaintop that you’re shouting down from.
  20. Someone doesn’t understand how things work
  21. There will be tons of candidates that will want this job because we have an owner with deep pockets who will be open to different approaches. Does everyone forget that our last owner only wanted defensive head coaches that wanted to run the ball for 3 yards and a cloud of dust? And if someone that we offer an interview turns us down who cares? Josh McDaniels turned down the Colts but they arguably got a much better coach in Frank Reich. No coach that’s worth a poo is going to think oh man I can’t coach there because their owner fired Matt Rhule too soon
  22. I don’t blame people for not being thrilled about Rhule so far. What I do think is bonkers is the people who are already demanding that tepper sell the team or spending energy trying to prove that the panthers are his side piece for his real goal of having a pro soccer team.
