Sure, let's give the guy that we gave up a 2nd round pick plus for and failed a 40 + million dollar a year contract based upon one year that he finally puts it together in a low pressure situation playing in a QB friendly system. What could go wrong?

Adam Schelfer always breaking news
-
He was never a free agent, Seattle traded a late round pick in the offseason for him
-
The team is damned if they do, damned if they don’t at this point. How many people here would be losing their minds if they did this - it would be everyone rushing to say that Tepper is ordering this to coddle his pet and never let him take the blame for subpar play.

I think he's talking about Zack Wilson rather than Russell. Either way, no thanks

They played a concert at carowinds with Tonic and Sugar Ray this summer. It was like 1996 all over again

Assuming it's done do you select a qb this year or wait?

Let’s give Timmy T E B O W a call -
We may have another high second rounder since the Rams are off to a bad start and are getting their core banged up

Considering that none of the 2010 QBs panned out and we had to take another one with the first pick the following year, I’m not loving that idea.

I mean, as frustrating as he was, yes. However he’s getting the history wrong, hurney was fired in 2012, ginn joined the team in 2013 and 2015 which means it was a gettleman signing. He had 10 TDs in 2015, which is a credit to what a monster Cam was at that time

Not having Hardy had nothing to do with us losing the 2015 super bowl. His replacement Kony Ealy likely would have been Super Bowl MVP if the league didn't want to rig it for Peyton Manning to go out on top. Also, Norwell was a UDFA that Gettleman signed, not Hurney.

The issue that makes it more difficult for us is that we have been going through a cycle of terrible coaching hires and replacing them every year or every other year, cycling through GMs, scouting staff, etc. That's one of the issues that makes it hard for me to evaluate what Bryce really will be after his first season, it was a disaster around him. I don't know that he will develop into what we thought he would be, but not many guys would have a chance in their first year with all the turmoil he had from a personnel and coaching perspective. I'd say the same thing for Johnathan Mingo too.

I wouldn't put any money on that. All other 31 teams passed on using a waiver claim on him, he signed with the 49ers practice squad and they kept 7 Wide Receivers on their 53 man roster. He's at best the #8 WR right now.

I posted a thread about that, you can imagine how that is going

They are probably looking at his paycheck when making that assertion

Pretty interesting read overall, 103 players anonymously were asked to rank the GOAT, the current top 3 QBs, rookie QB who is most likely to succeed, most overrated, most underrated, and trash talking. I was surprised to see that Bryce was tied for 3rd with a few others for underrated QBs. Here were the top vote-getters for the most underrated quarterback: T1. Purdy (14) T1. Stafford (14) T3. Atlanta Falcons' Kirk Cousins (7) T3. Lions' Jared Goff (7) T3. Green Bay Packers' Jordan Love (7) T3. Carolina Panthers' Bryce Young (7) Other top vote-getters: Herbert (6), Dallas Cowboys' Dak Prescott (4), Jackson (4), Hurts (4) and Tagovailoa (4) https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/41001234/nfl-patrick-mahomes-lamar-jackson-caleb-williams-quarterbacks-ranking

Way to miss the next line of the article..: “Of course, you don't end up winning a Heisman or being picked first overall if you're too good at laying about doing nothing. And he admitted that sleeping in lasted all of about a week, at which point he got back to morning workouts and getting ready for the physical challenges to come.” Let me guess, this part is a lie…

I know you love jumping into topics full bore and arguing for the sake of arguing, but below is the post the same guy I originally quoted made in another thread recently. I quoted and asked for his source because I believe it was 100% taken out of context, but hey prove me wrong and show me I’m missing something. He never responded but then posted similar rhetoric in this thread. And his implication is that he should be cut because of it. So yeah I’m gonna call BS when I see things that are being thrown around as facts
