  1. We went through 6 straight non winning seasons before the 2003 super bowl season/2005 NFC championship and then four more before 4 out of 5 years in the playoffs/the 2015 super bowl run. The ebbs and flows are nothing new to this franchise (and most of the league for that matter). I’m not going to jump ship just because the new owner had a swing and miss on the first head coach he hired.
  2. This is what happens when you lose to the Lions
  3. Heinicke didn’t even get a chance with WFT until Dwayne Haskins flamed out, Kyle Allen broke his leg and one legged Alex Smith couldn’t hold up. They were so unconfident with him that they signed fitzmagic in the off-season as a starter. 4 weeks ago every WFT fan was ready to tank and get the best QB available…now after one big upset over Tampa and narrow wins over our decomposing team and an inconsistent at best Seattle and Vegas team, he’s really the guy that we should have built around? Reminds me a lot of the Kyle Allen win streak in 2009, main difference being that WFT has a better O line.
  4. Yeah it’s all the QB for why NE is winning. Super analysis.
  5. You have popped up in every thread about bringing Cam back before it happened, claiming that it would be idiotic, he's not the answer, etc...and make every excuse under the sun for Sam Darnold's play. It's pretty clear where you side, there's no need to backtrack. Keep throwing around the R word though, that's edgy
  6. You just can't help yourself....backtracking isn't enough, you've got to start throwing the R word around. Take a fuging hike
  7. I'm sure it has a lot to do with how incompetent the team looked for the last month - and all of a sudden came out with one key change and beat the piss out of the team that had the best record in the league. Before you hit the quote button and point out that the other team was without their MVP level QB and best WR, I'll say I know it is an overreaction for sure, but forgive fans for wanting to be excited since we haven't been in a long time.
  8. Another guy who spent last week telling everybody that signing him was a terrible idea, downplays excitement. What a shocker.
  9. You don't have to read external website articles to find Cam haters. You can find a lot of them on this board. They are a little quieter today, but they will be shitting up threads near you soon if there's an incomplete pass or god forbid a turnover.
  10. Yeah you're not bothered at all - just had to offer an "unbiased opinion". Same guy who one week ago today said we need Cam about as much as we need a case of gonorrhea. Let your tears flow.
  11. The fact that you're bothered about that says more about you than it does Cam
  12. The fact that you worry so much about who is a Cam fan versus a panthers fan without understanding that there’s a huge amount of overlap says a lot about where you stand. I’m sorry Kyle Allen didn’t work out for you.
  13. No that’s bull123 under his new username
  14. We didn’t miss either of those guys. We chose not to draft them. Two different issues. And fug Mac Ankle twisting Jones 4 life. it would be a better look if you could just admit you never liked Cam and what he represents if you’re now seriously arguing that we would win too many games with him as a valid reason to sit through more Walker/Barkley/Darnold football. You wouldn’t have argued that ridiculous position after the draft as a reason not to sign him.
  15. Mid day hosts on 610 say this was a tepper call
  16. All it takes is one tweaked ankle or knee and he would be. Keep reaching though.
  17. Newsflash: We weren’t winning poo with Darnold or PJ. At least Cam gives us a chance. If he fails we are no worse off for it. What’s the downside?
  18. I don’t know, how would Matt Barkley learn it?
  19. It wasn’t just the last drive, the whole 4th quarter he was thriving…on the road with a crazy amount of noise and against a good pass rush. I have ZERO faith that Darnold could do the same thing in that circumstance with much more experience.
  20. Most bears fans were taking their frustration out on the coaching staff rather than fields. For some reason the coaches seemed to insist that he needed to stay in the pocket with a bad o line (particularly in the TB and Cleveland games) and never scramble. Both last week and this weeks game showed that when they let him run when needed that it completely changes the strategy on the defense. But keep in mind this is the same board that had plenty of people in Cam’s rookie year that said “the pretty stats are nice but he doesn’t just win games like The Golden Calf of Bristol”. I don’t doubt we would hear that with fields too.
  21. As someone who’s had PSLs the better part of the last two decades and been to nearly every home game excluding last year, the only thing that’s different between this year and 2001 and 2010 is that many of the seats that were empty previously are filled by opposing fans. There’s also another issue that people aren’t talking about and that’s last year when the overwhelming majority of PSL holders took the year off of tailgating/going to games because of the pandemic. How many people realized that they didn’t miss going through the routine to go to bad football games to spend a significant amount of discretionary income?
  22. Hope Myles Garrett tears him a new one this week.
  23. Just stop. You clearly weren’t around in 2001 or 2010 if you’re making this statement.
  24. Oh gosh drafting Rosen hurt the cardinals so bad for years, how did they recover?? I would argue that desperation is what caused us to give up multiple picks and pick up a 15 million option on Darnold, and giving Teddy an above average market deal only to dump him for next to nothing a year later.
