  1. Kind of like anointing Taylor Heinicke as a franchise QB after 4 good games?
  2. Muhsin Muhammad? Kris Jenkins? Ryan Kalil?
  3. The same people would be losing their poo if he were to get hurt at some point in the next 11 games and saying we should have traded him for whatever we could get.
  4. Add literally getting anything for Robbie Anderson after Sunday.
  5. At the rate we are using him in this terrible offense, he was likely to get IRed again and we would not be able to get anything for him. I’m not mad at this.
  6. Derek Anderson “That’s fine, that’s fine, that’s fine. I take this poo seriously!” Is up there
  7. Preston Smith was an early 2nd, Frank Clark a late 2nd. Yannick Ngakoue was early 3rd. I'd be happy with someone of that talent level if they were there in the 2nd.
  8. This is the beauty of a lost season - let guys get playing time and see what happens. Shi Smith has been targeted like a #2 receiver, but hasn't shown anything. Shennault, TMJ, and Higgins should get more reps. Of course, none of it matters if we are committed to not throwing the ball beyond the line of scrimmage..
  9. This is so true. Their last two wins were against the Lions and Browns and all of a sudden "they're back"....yet they're in 4th place in their own division. I can't wait until they get their curb stomping from the Bills again.
  10. Kneel kneel kneel punt for the next 11 games
  11. It’s because the card companies printed literally millions of cards in the junk era (late 80s to early 90s) and our parents always told us not to throw them away because the ones produced when they were kids had a lot less printed and a lot less that were in decent condition and became valuable. Today there are considerably less printed, but yes the low numbered or autograph/memorabilia rookie cards are the most desireable. But you’re also having to probably fork out over 10k for some of these boxes of cards to get a chance of pulling something like that. It’s insane.
  12. I really don’t have any half decent panther cards as I just got back into collecting a couple of years ago. Most impressive thing I have seen is that there’s a guy on the blowout forums board that has over 400 Steve Smith 1 of 1s, over 350 autos and something like 1100 memorabilia items of his
  13. I don't know the how part - but the ultra conservative game plan including the not calling timeouts at the end of the first half just seemed so obvious that we had no plans of competing. Felt like the only objective in this game was to make CMC look good to hopefully convince a team to give up assets for him. I expect that once the trade deadline has passed you'll see more "injuries" to key players that will get them put on IR and lots of playing time for younger players that probably don't fit into our plans.
  14. I think yesterday proves to me that when Tepper fired Rhule 7 days ago that the edict to tank is on.
  15. Because Kentucky QBs like Tim Couch and Jared Lorenzen have gotten it done?
  16. Blew a 28-3 lead in the superbowl. 43-42 career record. Kept his job a year or two longer than he should have because of going on a late season win streak when they were basically out of playoff contention. He's quite a bit like Ron Rivera in that regard. More importantly, his last game that he coached for the Falcons he lost to Matt Rhule, I don't think that's a coincidence. More details are below. https://www.profootballnetwork.com/why-was-dan-quinn-fired-as-the-head-coach-of-the-atlanta-falcons/
  17. You don't have to rely on one running back to have a running game, it's more about the system. The Chiefs won a superbowl with Damien Williams who was undrafted. The 49ers have plugged in guys like Mitchell, Jeff Wilson Jr (UDFA), Raheem Mostert (UDFA) and have done fine. Austin Ekeler was a UDFA. The Ravens were top 3 last year when they had bunch of injuries and ended up with Devonta Freeman and Latavius Murray off the streets at the beginning of the season. The Patriots for years have been using guys like James White, Legarrette Blount, Rhamondre Stevenson and have been fine. The Falcons are getting a lot of production out of Cordarrelle Patterson who no one really wanted. You might need to draft one in the 2nd or 3rd if you want one of the best like Nick Chubb or Derrick Henry, but it seems like a better use of resources to spend cap dollars or higher draft picks at higher impact positions.
  18. I’m no math major but 13 straight losses puts him at 11-40 rather than 11-50 doesn’t it? That would be a .216 win percentage. He still sucks.
  19. Can't stand Skip but his assessment of Rhule/McAdoo/the organization are spot on
