  1. He could also be 5-7 if the Saints didn't miss 2 field goals/completely gag down the stretch of that meaningless game
  2. lol that you believe mcadoo is going to be the OC. Take this knowledge level to Facebook where you're in your element
  3. Play the first half of the Bengals game in court, that should be enough to be done less than 3 minutes later
  4. At least he changed it from top 5 when he posted that in another thread
  5. I’m sure there’s no way that Herbert or Allen could possibly have made the conference championship in SFs system in the NFC. They just don’t have the smarts and aren’t gamers like Purdy is.
  6. It’s gymnastics that you are pretending that trading Dan Arnold meant we were “forced” to resign Ian Thomas. Those are two moves that are not mutually exclusive. Tight ends who can catch two passes a game are not exactly hard to find. I’m not saying the Jags didn’t get the better of the trade, but it didn’t have anything to do with the inclusion of Arnold. Would you have rather that fitterer gave up a 2nd rounder straight up or throw in extra picks for Henderson so that we could keep “pass catching tight end” Dan Arnold? I know that when you guys have your mind made up that you are done with someone, you have to take things to the extreme, but the fact that you and a few guys even care to bring up Dan Arnold as an example of someone who got away and are trying to convince people that anyone should care about him is over the top. Another guy a few posts later is blaming fitterer for not keeping Arnold and Chris manhertz as an excuse to why Sam darnold sucks. There are plenty of reasonable arguments to be made about the brain trusts in charge but these aren’t it.
  7. lol just stop with the gymnastics. I've never seen so much love for a tight end that averaged around 2 catches a game and doesn't block.
  8. Dan Arnold is end of roster fodder. To call him a "pass catching" tight end when he's averaged less than 2 catches a game for his career is trying to oversell a point or misplaced nostalgia for his actual impact. He doesn't block worth a poo either. Jacksonville went out and got an actual pass catching tight end in the offseason this year because of how little he brings to the table. If you want an actual argument for mismanagement of the tight end position, stick with blasting the FO for resigning Ian Thomas to anything other than a veteran minimum contract.
  9. He had 7 catches in 3 games for us, how could we possibly replace that?
  10. Hurts is garbage and just a glorified RB was a popular take this past offseason, especially after the eagles struggled against Tampa in the playoffs
  11. Nothing and I mean nothing will top when we had “DrewBreesIsGod” threatening to show the board up by faxing us his diploma from LSU
  12. And the sad part is that Josh McDaniels still lost to them in Saturdays first game
  13. Depends on what we'd have to give up. I'd assume it has to be above what the Browns gave up for Watson in addition to fully guaranteeing his contract. If that's the case, I'd say no.
  14. It's been a thing that's been said for years on this board, mostly by people who never wanted Cam Newton on our team for whatever reason, not just in Cam's last season. Most recent guy I can think of who debated this was Catsfan69, but there have been other posters who aren't memorable over the last decade make the same claims.
  15. Jake Delhomme was 59.4% and Derek Anderson was 54.3%. I've read on these boards that both these guys and Darnold are more accurate than Cam. This doesn't compute.
