  1. Burrow struggled a bit with sideline throws from the far hash, I was legitimately concerned about him in college. I had the same worry about him that you (and I) do about Young. I do think that’s the question for Young more than anything else. He is hitting windows in college and making these throws you aren’t supposed to but does it translate with his arm. I know most QBs arms get stronger when they get to the NFL but the staff feeling comfortable with that translating is the big deal for me when talking Young. I don’t think it’s fair to expect him to get a Burrow type boost but I don’t think this is as strong as his arm is ever going to be.
  2. Burrow is interesting because honestly I think Young in college has stronger arm than Burrow in college, it was a real concern with him coming out. But Burrow has noticeably improved his arm strength in the pros it’s really impressive.
  3. Egbuka probably would be neck and neck with JSN if he could come out this year. Brian Hartline is incredible.
  4. Watching those Vegas odds flip over the last two weeks was wild. Didn’t believe they’d actually do it.
  5. Got any other previous years? Last years class was so brutal hahaha.
  6. Needed something positive to release with all the owner stuff popping up.
  7. Sure but the longer this goes on where we are getting similar comments that basically say it’s Bryce and it’s up to others to change their mind, the others have less and less chances to actually change their mind. Does anyone know when the individual visits for the QBs are here? Once we get through them I imagine we’ll start hearing one name a lot more than the others.
  8. Me peacocking aside I agree with you, I’m curious when that point is.
  9. They are 100% giving the other QBs every opportunity to change their minds. No reason to not do proper due diligence.
  10. Don’t mind me I won’t stand in the way of the downplaying of another source. Whatever you want to call it to help the cause.
  11. Another Bryce report the Stroud Elitests will downplay! The smokes getting so thick I can hardly breathe. About to be a Short King Spring in the Carolinas.
  12. He comes around where I am, I think people undersell Young’s abilities because of his height and oversell Stroud’s upside out of the desire to hit on this pick. Young’s game is a good bit more compelling from the view of what I personally value and it 100% outweighs any size concerns in my eyes. Stroud throws an elite ball but he does enough mentally that makes me more nervous to how he’s going to translate, I will argue there are signs outside of the Georgia game that he has the potential but it’s just too scattershot for me. I also think dealing with pressure is something that doesn’t improve as much as people want to believe it does on the pros. I don’t blame anyone for preferring Stroud I’m not an NFL evaluator so it’s just all discussion, but the longer this goes and the more games I watch the more I’m convinced Young is my choice. End of the day I think nurture has a ton to do with QB development and I’m glad we have a great spot for a young guy and a great staff and if it is Stroud I’ll be all in. Just think I’ll be more surprised if he’s Elite than Young.
  13. There’s an argument for it 100% hahaha. I think that’s fine but we clearly want a guy we can slot in right away and I don’t personally think Bryce’s ceiling is that much lower than Richardsons just a brain vs brawn thing.
  14. I’ll be more pissed if Young is great and we take a bad Stroud than if Young gets hurt and we miss a good Stroud. Mainly because it’ll be another example of us overthinking poo and missing out. If Young gets hurt at least we went with the better QB prospect and took a shot. I’m happy taking Stroud because I think he’ll at least be decent but it’s also playing scared, so I just hope he can get over his pressure issues because I think people assume that can be fixed easier that it has historically.
  15. Hideous, but Bravo you've created a monster Dr. Frankenstein. Takes real talent to do what you did.
  16. If I see a gradient i'm going to die. This list hits about all my no gos as well.
  17. When did we decide to box Frank in this hard, guys competent enough to build an offense around either guy.
  18. Reminds me of the Jelani pick by Frank’s Colts last year in terms of insane athleticism. Think Kunitz is the most athletic TE in RAS history right ahead of Woods. Could see it in the 4 tbh. His profile is going to push him up and generally with TEs RAS score is a pretty good correlation with success.
  19. If we vote for it we better get something very good. Its awful.
  20. I doubt he has any trade value so I imagine he’ll have the preseason to show what he has. Staff has zero loyalty to him and he’s not going to get a ton of quality reps but hopefully he’s up to the challenge and can show enough they want to develop him.
  21. Lmao, I actually agree, may be giving Bryce too much credit here.
