  1. Personally, As team Bryce I plan to immediately start mocking his height and weight the second we draft Stroud.
  2. Agreed with Bryce’s size and Stroud’s still developing pressure stuff an elite Oline early will pay a ton of dividends for either of them.
  3. Does the Stroud vs Bryce stuff get squashed by one being picked or is it gonna be debated for years?
  4. Yeah I cant tell, I agree with everyone who knows until it happens. I can see the story being either version of these two weeks from now. Stroud's visit so late will keep this shrouded for a bit I imagine.
  5. The alternative could be we leaked Stroud hard so Houston wouldn't up their offer to 1 because they thought we didnt want their guy, allowing us to get the guy we actually liked Young. The tea leaves can be read a number of ways.
  6. Levis and Stroud on the same day? Weird they didnt get their own days.
  7. I like almost all those prospects so sounds good to me!
  8. The game threads are gonna get old so fast with the freak outs i'm sure.
  9. At what point in the process do we begin to believe the reports? Next Week?
  10. BMI is by far my favorite thing to watch people talk about with the draft.
  11. I dont watch mainly because the cohost he just makes me more annoyed than anything.
  12. Texans fans seem to think it, but Lance Zeurline I think who hit on what they drafted last year I guess said he's heard they dont like Stroud as much and may take Anderson or Wilson if Young isnt there. I've heard a few Texans beat writers float there is a thought out there it could be true. As with everything who actually knows.
  13. “It would be CJ Stroud if the draft were today” glad we finally get to hear some Stroud action on the rumor mill again.
  14. Lost weight like he lost money on his crypto contract. Wild transformation though, will be great for him long term.
  15. Stroud clearly fits the standard Frank offense the best. Is he willing to change for his QB? We’ll know by the pick probably.
  16. I’d be surprised if TJ Tuimoloau wasn’t a top 10 selection next year. Jessie Eichenburg probably goes in the first next as well. This year maybe Zach Harrison goes round 2 but probably day 2. Ohio State got plenty of help from the defense in the Penn state and Maryland games for example when Stroud wasn’t really on. Bamas defense was definitely better, but Ohio states skill positions this year were far better and its clear on the tape and it’ll be clear in the draft. Both these guys were at elite programs but some years they go through dips in development. Bama hasn’t been this bad at receiver in a while, but last year they were fantastic. Ohio States defense hasn’t been as elite as usual lately though for sure. Thimoloau is a certified star who may go top 5 next year really.
  17. Amen. For all the poo talked in here, I think the majority are going to be in this boat. Give me a guy and I'm going to go in 100% for him, I'm excited to have that opportunity.
  18. Personally I have it 1. Stroud Floor: I think at min he's around a Jared Goff (He's got a really nice floor imo) who I think has similar accuracy pluses but falls apart when pressed with pressure, he's someone that can win early but once hes in his second contract and the talent levels drop a bit around him he may struggle to be the guy. Ceiling: Burrow without the It factor. I think he can be a top 10 QB, I think Burrow has that It factor I dont personally see with Stroud, and Burrow out of structure is at a level I dont personally think Stroud can get to. But in the pocket I think Stroud could easily rival burrow. Would put him over a Cousins and right above a Dak in my mind in todays rankings. 2. Young Floor: Career backup, if things go the way some think and injuries hamper him early I think he ends up a guy that teams love as a backup for his mind and his ability to play high levels in short spurts. I understand the fear of this scenario, I dont see it as likely myself but I know a lot do. Celing: I think his ceiling is a top 5 QB in the mold of Drew Brees. Ideally he learns to perfect his pocket movement he does at a high level by reducing the amount he is doing the long form scramble escapes I can admit could be an issue. Brees moved really well in the pocket and developed a great balance of moving when he needed to but also getting the ball out, I think Bryce works really nice in the pocket and as he matures he'll understand situation and risk factors better and better. I'd argue his arm should get a little better in the pros and if he avoids injury like I think he can he has the It factor to be special in terms of improvisation and making the plays he need when it matters. Hes someone I think constantly got better the further the game went especially when his team needed points and I dont think thats something you can teach. 3. Richardson Floor: A short frustrating career where he doesnt develop consistent mechanics when throwing the ball and his inaccuracy keeps him from ever getting where he needs to go. Has the athleticism to do a position swap if needed but I dont want to sell him short. Ceiling: QB1, he already has top end pocket presence and movement imo, he's got elite athleticism that will force teams to account for him on the run which will help get guys open. If he can clean up his mechanics and make them more consistent he's going to be impossible to defend for a decade or more. I would argue he does a lot of the high level things QBs need to do already, I just wonder if he can put it together. I do think he's going to have to grow a bit as an Alpha QB1, hes a bit reserved and I think thats what separates him from a Cam right now. I think he has the personality and the brain to 100% grow into that role to be a great leader. I will be very happy if its any of the three, I think i'm most nervous about Richardson but I see the picture. I think Bryce has the ability to be a long term winner in this league, and I think if we draft Stroud i'll at least know he'll be a top 15 if not top 10 QB almost guaranteed.
  19. Quinten is really interesting to me, he came in smaller and tested less athletic than expected, I could see that fall. Jaxon falling would break my brain but i've been wrong plenty before.
  20. Yeah I also think he’d need to kill some plays he made in college earlier and learning when to do that will be a big part of his development. I’d say 3/4 of the stuff he does in the pocket is good, but 1/4 of it he’ll have to learn when it’s not there he needs to sometimes just end it and move on. I just want a guy who has shown a consistent ability to do that, and ideally he learns to do it in the right situations. Personally I haven’t seen someone go from a mediocre improviser to an elite one before and it’s one of my favorite traits. Maybe Aaron Rodgers going from a robot Tedford QB to what he is now would be the one example I can think of. I think Mccown said it well on his breakdown where Bryce has a negative play trying to play hero ball on second down in the redzone throwing an int. where yes the majority of the time with him it ends net positive but you gotta know it’s second down in the redzone and the game situation. That could be pushed to the majority of his game. On the alternative whole Bryce’s Ball Placement isn’t on the level of Stroud I do think his accuracy gets downplayed a bit, he throws a very accurate catchable ball that will translate to the NFL imo.
  21. Its funny thats always my first thought any time I watch 2021 Bryce, Jameson just moves at a different speed than everyone. Him going down in that national title game was brutal.
