Spikes come with notable free agent signings and draft days. That's pretty typical. Peaks are nice, but having higher valleys is much nicer. Means people are having fun with this team on the daily and not with just breaking news.
-
Nope, I'll just reboot the franchise
-
Pretty much.
-
This is what traffic looks like in this joint. The peaks on the left are game days. February is no man's land. Then there is the Watson Effect. Notice people are more excited about possibly picking up a good player than watching an entire bad team in December.

Then they might get Watson for nothing.

I believe today we will hear where Watson will be landing. How things stand: - Watson has completed meeting with teams. - He has said he was impressed with all, will be a tough decision. - Rumors say he prefers Atlanta, then New Orleans, then Carolina. - Some circles believe Carolina is still the destination and the rest is just window dressing intended to increase the price. - He may be stalling to see what Atlanta can come up with as far as receivers go, hoping they can improve. Right now he would have one target in Pitts, and he likely will be in the trade package.

How exciting will that be? Let's goooooo baby!

The Saints are using dummy years in contracts to flush cap hits?

Which is crazy to me because if there is one thing Tepper should be best at is fugging around with numbers. -
Another solid pickup. Seems like Fitterer and Morgan are running things to me.

I've always liked him. Reminds me of a smaller Mario Addison. All motor.

I like it. "Haynes was Carolina's fourth-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, and developed into an effective rotational player. He was fourth on the team with 3.0 sacks last year, and had 4.0 sacks in 2020. Even as he flashed in the preseason, Haynes was limited in his role during the regular season, playing just 21 percent of the defensive snaps in 2021. It was hard to find more time when you had Brian Burns on one side and Haason Reddick on the other (20.0 combined sacks)."

I've heard that Tepper didn't like the Keep Pounding mantra at all and would like to phase it out. That got a ton of backlash this year when they tried.

If the Panthers come away with Deshaun Watson without giving up any players all while extending and restructuring Watson giving enough room for continued offensive line improvement...... This join is going to be rainbows and honey dew for the foreseeable future. Any Tepper slander will be met with a firm banning. Anything short of verbally felating Fitterer/Rhule will be seen as an aggressive attack on the best coach/GM in the NFL. Of course, anything short of this and flame away on these turds.

I think so too. Burns will be the difference when considering who has the more attractive offer.
-
If the Texans acquire Brian Burns the "official hype man" of the Panthers gonna go with him to Houston. Tepper should have gone with our own grass roots @RoaringRiot and reward him for making real headway into improving our culture instead of a dudes brother who just jumped on board.

Also, the fact that he is meeting with the browns is a good thing. Means he knows only shitty broken franchises will give up enough for him and he isn't going to a contender no matter what.

Instead of sifting through 200 pages of the other thread I thought a new thread with the latest info would be good. Tepper, Rhule, and Fitterer met with Deshaun last night. The Saints also met with him. It is unclear if meatballs were served. Today, Deshaun is meeting with the Browns and giving a deposition for his civil cases. In the meantime, the Panthers have added a surprisingly good right guard to the team which may help prove to Watson that they are serious about keeping him protected. When will a decision be made? I suspect by the end of the week.
-
Would like him a lot at guard. Do it!
-
It is never used. Of course he manages it, there is nothing to manage.
-
Him coming out of Twitter retirement only to like the Bucs post about Brady. Basically him liking losing the south again.
-
Shoutout to Ellis for the find.
-
No more Watson threads. Use this one or one of the other 20 existing ones.

It is cryptic. Could be just the start of legal tampering soon. The clip was MJ excited for someone 6 hours in the future.
