Carolina Panthers training camp starts this week. Here is a little of what you can expect. Players check in on Tuesday. Media will be there to conduct interviews and get the obligatory shots of the guys moving into the Wofford dorms. Expect a big amount of fluff but some fun stuff as well. The first practice is Wednesday morning. It will look and feel a lot like the OTA practices as pads are not allowed to be worn until the 4th day per the CBA. So that would mean the earliest pads go on would be Saturday, which happens to also be the Panthers kickoff party. So you may want to plan on attending that.

Multiple sources on the Twitter app are saying the Texans are now spreading the word that Deshaun is available for trade. Panthers are being mentioned as a no brainer. Still interested?

Most players continue working out hard through July. Most players also don't bother doing a video for social media, no point. Glad he is working hard, but don't assume others are not.

That one play last year where he fell straight down and missed the first down after being hit by a small DB told me everything I needed to know about him.

Not as comfortable as those guys but that's to be expected as he is new to system. Bridgewater looked more comfortable having played in New Orleans. Going to take Darnold more time to get acclimated.

Where players line up is one of those things I get dinged for if I divulge

Miller hasn't practiced. I think he has been in a red shirt the entire time. I don't think we have had someone like Chinn before. For some reason he reminds me of Jon Beason more than anyone in terms of his demeanor.

Losing Curtis Samuel hurt. If the guys practicing yesterday was all we had then yeah, big step backwards. But maybe Terrace Marshall and/or Shi Smith will make us better when they start practicing. Bouye and Jackson have looked very good. The rookie Taylor has also made plays. If Horn hasn't practiced much but if he can get up to speed quickly then the whole unit is going to be so much better than last season.
