Elite is winning a Super Bowl, yes there’s been a few QB’s to win a championship that are not in the category, but the word elite is only for a chosen few.

Cam wasn’t elite, maybe to you he was. He’s the greatest QB in Panthers history to this point.

He was averaging around 300 yds per game with CMC. I didn’t say it was ideal way to build a team, just stating facts.

3 for 7 = 99%? You guys overlook the fact of how important CMC is to, not only the team, but our genius OC. When he’s out, it effects all facets of the game plan and it definitely shows. Or maybe you could name someone who hasn’t sucked in his absence?

Hedge fund managers are aggressive not conservative. But he’s the owner, not the GM. Darnold hasn’t lived up to expectations, but you could say this about everyone on offense. It’s an absolute cluster fug and there’s some kind of underlying issues not being addressed.

Good point, I’m no expert on salaries but it looks like we’d be picking up 10 million plus this year and 30 million plus thereafter. So the most obvious way to clear up the most cap space would be packaging CMC and a ton of picks for Watson and they take Darnolds contract.

I think I opponents understand it better than the guys running it, it’s like they’ve figured out tendencies according to the formation. Screens are getting blown up and his bread and butter play, the hand off to DJ on a end around…

Wilson and Lance went 2 and 3 after being considered later round picks in the preseason. It seems Rattler is in the doghouse at OU and he probably transfers out and stays in college another year. However, if Howell stays healthy and declares he’s going be the top pick, worse scenario being top 5.

To my point, why throw 57% of the time when your QB sucks? Maybe it’s not the QB, we’re going into the half with leads and getting gashed in the third quarter. Hell the opposing DB’s are running our routes and have a higher catch ratio for Christ sake. I’ll look it up tomorrow after I get up, but of the 9 picks, I can remember only 1 in the first half and also the run/pass ratio in the second half. From memory it seems like we have Warren Moon and the “Fun Bunch” coming out of the locker room and either lose the lead or momentum.

Or, when you’re running the ball at a 4 and half yard a carry, why abandon it? Our OL is better at run blocking, defensively our starters are talented, but lack depth, so why put the team in a position to fail? So, if Darnold is the problem, why is Brady putting it in his hands? Three weeks in a row, we’ve had the lead at the half and we come out forcing the ball downfield?

The NFL should've already made some kind of decision on the Watson matter. He’s, (technically), already served a six game suspension and counting. Regardless, the Texans are on the hook for that massive salary and it’s going to take a king’s ransom to acquire him or they’ll leave him in purgatory.
