Has Cam Newton submitted his retirement papers yet?
pantherclaw replied to CamWhoaaCam's topic in Carolina Panthers
Doesn't matter whether he has submitted paperwork or not. He has been retired, whether he cares to admit it or not. -
Stroud should be good. Not sure he'll be the best from this draft.

Reich description of his future QB!

I said he's like CMC. "LIKE HIM" Not as talented as him. He has a great nose for the end zone, and he catches passes. Great outlet for a rookie receiver. Now go be a bitch to someone else, one whom might actually think you have a point. -

That's your opinion. -
I get why he feels that way. Let him motivate himself however he wants to.

I know people are struggling with this. It's really what teams.want out of theirnstarting running back. They want a running back whom can play ever down, and catch out of the backfield. Sanders is a lot like CMC, but without CMC's price. Consider him a value. -
That doesn't concern me. Our scouting department has evolved every year for many years now. Besides setting up the board includes the coaches.
-
As much as I love his running style. He is EASILY replaceable.
-
And yet we traded Moore away. I get it, QB is more important, but we don't exactly have a strong record with drafting receivers.
-
I really don't care if we get a single prime time game. Such over rated.

The man is human. He came in, and like ANYONE that doesn't have experience, he made some mistakes. He has also owned everyone of them. So from my perspective he never really deserved the hate, other than holding onto Rhule too long. His desire to build a winner has never waivered. This definitely is the direction we as fans, have been wanting to see.

Frank Reich has NO EXCUSES… playoffs or bust in 3 seasons

Your posting has gotten extremely lame and lazy. Maybe it's because of your ego. Frank didn't come here to coach a losing team. Thanks for your time. -
The front office would be fools to only focus on 1 QB, especially since there isn't a generational talent. Thus isn't just about securing a franchise QB, it's about building the team the best they can, not just for this year, but for years to come. If they feel they have 2, maybe 3 QB's are on the same tier, then it's certainly in the teams best interest to try to aquire more picks, despite moving up to the first pick in the draft. Before the trade, they had no options, now they have options. Don't be scared for the team to explore their options, and do what they feel is best.

Trade Chinn? He's one of our best players. He is a chess piece. I keep seeing people trying to find a position for him to play in our base defense, which we won't even be in the majority of the time! This team is continuing to build every phase of this team. Offense, defense, special teams. Our defensive coordinator is going to love wrecking havoc to opposing offenses, forcing them to account for where Chinn is. The talent and flexibility this defense has is getting more and more impressive. It's great to have 2 good safeties, and I'm excited to see our defense to take another step or two towards being elite.

Carolina willing to move Corral. Cost won’t be high.

I could only imagine the melt down the huddle would have had had no QB been drafted last draft. -

Blaming Rhule is lazy. Fitts has stated since his arrival, that he is a fan of regularly drafting QB's. I also believed a lot of fans convinced themselves he'd see the field, despite him being a project. The new coaching staff did their evaluation, and are obviously set to draft one of the top 2 QBs in this draft. With roster spots so valuable, it's a no braininer to move him, because they won't be keeping him on the roster with a rookie QB.
