  1. Thank you for being the first in this thread to say this!
  2. This thread is . And so.many are lining up to give their too. I understand where 0-4. It's disappointing for everyone. Doesn't justify the takes that people are spreading without anything to back it up but their feelings.
  3. As a fan, as a life long football fan...am use to players coming and going. I hated seeing CMC go, but at this point, I'm just happy for him he's performing at an elite level which is to be expected.
  4. Yes, historically our franchise has struggled drafting receivers, does that mean we should stop?
  5. Receiver is easier to replace than those other positions. I understand the move.
  6. Nobody wanted to lose Moore. It was the price to move up with the bears. They were wanting and needing offensive talent. Not defensive. As far as Mingo, our staff wasn't alone with their evaluation of Mingo. Steve Smith and professionals all around the league were also on the same page that our scouts and front office was during the off-season. Players still need time to develop, and Mingo was not even close to a polished product coming out of college. He has the talent, desire, and dawg in him to improve. He will. Anybody expecting him to be anything but a 3rd receiver at best, placed incredibly short sited expectations upon him .
  7. We seriously need a laughing our freaking ass off emoji.
  8. Yet couldn't have been done without it. They admitted he wasn't a player they WANTED to lose, but that is the price one must pay to move up.
  9. All sinners are forgiven before they even ask. Doesn’t change the fact that what he did was absolutely horrible. No argument there. None of us are perfect.
  10. In the spirit that most of these predictions are not realistic.... 543 yards and 10 TD's.
  11. The guys that we have that are healthy, have to step up their execution. It's as simple as that.
  12. This here has been the biggest issue. The other guys are great players, but without the unity and chemistry of the guards that play beside them, it brings the whole unit down.
  13. Certainly still coming back from it. Am sure he'll improve as the season progresses.
  14. The trade was all about acquiring draft capital. This isn't rocket science.
  15. Perspective is everything. No.matter the perspectives, yours, mine, none of them match the franchise's. Lol @ crazy. That's a similar perspective I share when I read your post regarding this subject.
  16. First, the draft is always a crap shot. Even with the best drafting teams. 2nd, what we do with draft picks doesn't reflect back to trade. We traded an expensive player that most fans didn't even want on the team with the contract he had, and we got picks in return. Done. Trade was successful. The 49ers got arguably the best RB in the league, and we got a handful of picks that our front office was willing to accept for. Successful trade. We then used used multiple picks and moved our best receiver that many, including Steve Smith, says wasn't a true elite #1 receiver, to be able to trade up to grab the teams franchise QB. CMC was traded away for the team to aquire their franchise QB. Successful. Nothing that we do with the remaining picks has ANYTHING to do with trading away CMC.
  17. These short sited hot takes are always hilarious!
  18. One thing is can't say, is that our pass rush has needed his help. Develop him. Is a blessing we don't have to rush him.
  19. Nobody is alright with losing. What a stupid perspective.
  20. The reality is it takes time to implement new offensive system. Specially with players who are accustomed to playing with each other. Add to that the injuries we've been dealing with on the oline, and even at receiver, it's very understandable why the offense has struggled to find ANY consistency. There is no need to blame the coaches, the GM, or even the owner. These things are beyond anybody's control. All that can be done is to keep.moving forward with getting better execution each and every week, Regardless whom is on the field.
  21. We needed a QB. I have zero problems with them moving up to draft their guy. I'm also never going to judge him on his rookie season. He has shown me enough with his poise and accuracy, that I'm willing to watch him develop. I am confident the team will continue to add offensive talent around him.
