Would keeping Burns require another big D-line addition?

Tell that to Dan Morgan whom feels differently, and happens to be the man making the decision. -

He is a ranks 11th overall as a pass rusher in the league. He's also the ONLY legit pass rusher on the team. He's also a leader. Miss and moan about the economics of how players get paid in the NFL all you want to. He's still wanted and needed ob the team by upper management. How yall continue to dismiss him because he doesn't fit what we would all ideally want doesn't change any that I've shared. -

I have no problems with Burbs being an every down player. That's what the NFL has turned to do to the lack of true prototypical defensive ends. My problems is the Panthers have absolutely failed to find a long term solution for the other end of the defensive line. -
Are we low-key tanking? Donnelly thinks we're half-tanking.

I'm not sure I agree with your perspective. But kudos to him. -

I've listened to this guy I don't know how many times, and every time I'm left thinking this guy got some issues in his head. -

This premise that Burns doesn't fight through double team is a stretch. Regardless whether Burns is here or not, the Panthers need another quality consistent pass rusher on the other end of the line. Doesn't have to be elite, just above average, consistent, and no quit. Every elite pass rusher in the history of the game benefited from having a bookend pass rusher. The team needs to stop signing these long in the tooth veteran pass rushers to pair with Burns. They need a guy who has energy and fight. The defensive line isn't far from becoming a dominant one. -
Saw this coming.

This. Moton is absolutely a stud and a leader on our oline. He has plenty left to be able to play. They want to extend him to lower his number, and keep him in. Panther uniform for a long time. No reason not to. This isn't kicking the can down the road. It is making sure we keep the best of our oline as we work to improve our oline.

Officially Entering My Vote for WR Keon Coleman

At the 33rd pick, the Panthers need a guy whom can be an outside starting wide receiver that can run all the routes, get separation and attack the ball while it's in the air. I'm not going to pretend whom in this draft fits that billing, as I am far too busy for that. So for those who have been all over every receiver in the draft. . . Who fits that mold that will realistically be there at the beginning of the second day? -
REPORT: Panthers prioritizing OG in free agency
pantherclaw replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Moton could be extended now. His veteran leadership on the oline is pretty heavy. Might be able to get a break doing so. Definitely think Christensen should be extended now. He is the primary backup at every position across the line except center. -

I made a direct quote. I know that doesn't stop people from wanting to be upset over everything. -

A petition to change the Washington Commanders' name to the Washington Redskins has been circulating online. The petition was started by the Native American Guardian's Association (NAGA), a North Dakota-based nonprofit organization, on June 21, 2023. As of September 14, 2023, the petition has over 131,000 signatures. The petition states that the name "Redskins" has cultural, historical, and emotional significance, honoring the bravery, resilience, and warrior spirit of Native American culture. The petition also claims that the name "Commanders" is a fitting name for oppressors. The Commanders changed their name to the Washington Football Team in 2020 after many said it was racially insensitive to call the team "Redskins". However, the Commanders have made it clear that they're not going to make the switch, even though many people have signed the petition. Peace. -

The natives didn't weren't offended when they were the redskins. More natives have come out in support of the original name, the Redskins. Seems like a no brained to me. -
Probably how the front office has failed the team with zero pass rush.

Harbaugh gets hired to the chargers. With a universally elite rate QB. In his presser, he says he wants to make things easier for his QB so he doesn't feel he has to do everything. Pretty much what every head coach is suppose to say/do when the offense is struggling. New head coach, and a QB that many hated before he was even drafted, and the head coach is planning what he's planning because of the limitations of our QB. Do you guys ever listen to the stupidity that falls out of your mouths/onto a keyboard?
