I loved Hardy, since he was drafted. It was absolutely fun to watch him develop and become the player he had become. Nobody wanted him retained more than me. This isn't about his talent, or how well liked the guy is. This is about Mr Richardson saying no to not just the negatively that came from Hardy's domestic dispute, but how Hardy has carried himself off the field since he has been a Panther. You can't compare that to Steve Smith's on field/practice issues. They aren't even in the same universe. So sad, that so many, simply don't get that. I get It. Yes, it sucks to had watched Hardy since he was drafted, develop as a Panther, only to see Hardy squander The opportunity to the point, where the owner had to step in and say, "no more." I love the excuses that my fellow panther fans are making to call the owner a hypocrite. You simply can't compare apples to oranges, no matter how hard you try. he does let his football guys make the decisions except where he when he feels the need to handle it personally, which is rare with Richardson. But PLEASE, keep spouting off as if he is a jerry jones or the late al davis.

beyond that, hardy also conducted himself in an unprofessional manner, even after he was put on the commish exempt list. While the domestic violence ends up being the excuse, it's not the sole reasoning. And Richardson decision didn't stop us from winning. the panthers made their stance very clear. They were allowing due process to run it's course. Which is what every other team would have done before the media ran wild with rhe rice tapes. So try again.
