It's pre-season. So I just don't give a damn. I've spent way too many years since the CBA, believing the the oline will come together in time for regular season. The fact of the matter that they never had enough playing time back when there was 2 a days practices mostly in pads, and all 4 preseason games. I refuse to believe that any new oline (for the record that is an oline with 2 or more new starters...practically every year) will EVER come together during preseason. There wasn't enough time for it 20 years ago. There is certainly not enough time today. ANYONE whom believes otherwise is flat out lying to themselves. That happens to be a common practice here on the huddle.

Yet other teams have sat their starters. The Jets sat their starters. Mr Rogers hasn't played significant football in almost 2 years. Yet they weren't worried about him. I know...he wasn't a rookie last year. He only didn't play at all. If you're going to talk out of your ass, please Don't speak like it's factual.

Preseason has always been about figuring out the roster. Even more so with 3 shirt weeks. This is your modern NFL.

Frankly, the fact that the starting oline has gotten so little time together upsets me more than anything. Unfortunately this is the modern NFL. I haven't liked the NFL ever since the CBA. Damn sissy league now.

They're not the only one. As a fan, I get it. I want to see the starters too. I just understand the other's idea of it too. It's called being unbiased.

This is the by product of only a 3 game preseason, and the importance to figure out the entire roster. Not the starters. It's just more important to get the depth figured out. The 1 or 2 series the starters would get isn't going to change anything. Except to the fans.
