  1. Seems to me if we can generate some offense front the start of the game, we should stand a chance.
  2. First game as a true starter. Against a team with a very good pass rush. Yes, this is the year that he needs to show he belongs, but I'm not going to judge him based off this game.
  3. I don't know about that, as much as Sean is.more addicted to football, and his mind is just different.
  4. 6 losses? I don't see more than 3. Shrugs
  5. I'm excited. I wish nothing but the best results for our team and coaches. Tepper deserves to have a winning team, and Rhule has been putting in the time. I will enjoy watching them play, and hopefully executing well enough to win the game!! Go Panthers!
  6. They both said it's difficult to pull a player when he is the best on the field, and he wants to play. Every coach we've had has said their going to manage his work load, and it's nothing but lip service. And here you are preaching it like it's actually gonna happen this time.
  7. Yes, their going to.manage to play them more than you or anybody else wants them to, and you'll still pass and moan. Once again, there is zero evidence it extends a career. They could just as easily get hurt on less touches. You don't pay CMC to limit him 15 touches a game, and you will never see it.
  8. There is ZERO evidence that limiting a RBNto 15 touches a game will extend his career. We're also not trying to find way to extend his career. We're trying to win. Injuries happen no.matter how you coddle them. If they are able to play, you play them.
  9. I'm totally in favor of playing our best players. Absolutely. Especially ones whom make an impact just being on the field. We're not paying him to sit on the sideline. Any coach that is willing to sit their stud players should be shot.
  10. That sucks, was really.lopking forward.to seeing his impact on defense.
  11. Yeah. I enjoyed the game. Buffalo looks really good. Especially their defensive front. As far as using your studs, that is what they are for. You don't pay them money to put the on the shelf no matter how capable the backups are.
  12. And not top tier? Laughable.
  13. I saw this online yesterday. Sad were not even favored at home. It's fine though.
  14. Holy poo. Take your panties off boys.
  15. The Browns have a great run game. So obvious, first is playing good run defense. Doesn't have to be lights out, but enough that their offense can't dictate. Next would be keeping their pass rush at bay, and that means running the ball successfully. No turn overs.
  16. Improving a defense, with intentions of being one of the best in the league... To what end? An improved oline, but to what end?. Improved quarterback play, but to what end? Making statements that they have no intention of becoming a more consistent running team at this point, is nothing but hyperbowl. Lazy writing. My ass could have written better poo.
  17. Me? Not at all. I understand the NFL very well. Injuries are part of the game, period. Some players get lucky, and seem to avoid major injuries, but in the end it always catches up with them. Different positions have different career life spans in the NFL. Guess then2 positions with the shortest? Linebacker and running back. Surprise surprise. I expect you know these things. CMC Has missed most of 2 seasons due to 2 not common injuries, that really haven't done ANYTHING to take away his ability. Is he going to stay healthy ever during a full season? fug no. Does that.mean he shouldn't get paid? fug no. Does that.mean he shouldn't play? fug no. Play your starters. Feed your studs. The quest is a championship, not a 20 year career.
  18. I personally have no problems with any of this. None of it will even matter during the game. No reason for Baker to lie about it. He doesn't strike me as someone who wouldn't own it, and the team and give a damn enough to tell him to deny it.
