  1. Young has zero problems throwing deep. Relax.
  2. John Elway makes Roger's look tame. Point being, is doesn't matter how you feel about a player, it doesn't take away their accomplishments. Their ability to lead. Etc. I remember plenty of those GB teams where it was obvious they weren't doing all they could. Roger's has played behind some of the worst olines up their in Greenbay. There were seasons he was throwing to receiving cores that couldn't catch a cold. I've also seen a lot of humility our of Roger's. So this leads me to believe that many just chose to ignore what they want out of Roger's. Once again, nobody deserves to be injured. I, myself, have no respect for anyone whom is happy a player gets hurt. The irony that so many fans want to call.players injury prone in a league that injuries are a fact of life. The outliers are the players that remain healthy. Not the other way around.
  3. Like I said, there is no end to the missed picks. You can qualify this particular situation all you want to.
  4. What fools the Jets were to bring in Roger's. They must be held accountable!!
  5. The team is also accountable for every missed pick on a talented player. This will never end.
  6. I would have loved Slater. Not a single draft goes the way I'd had picked. Hindsight is always 20/20. I'm still not mad at the pick. Never will be either. Horn's talent is undeniable. So I can see why he was the pick.
  7. We needed a corner. If he wasn't on the roster, we'd need another corner. So your argument that he didn't fill a need just doesn't hold a drop of water. ThIs in the NFL. He didn't have a history of injuries, so there was zero red flags. Just seems to me you and others were just waiting for any injury to happen to harp more on him. I find that quite amusing that CB's often struggle with minor injuries. That's what this one is. A soft tissue injury that is extremely common throughout the league when real games start getting played. It does suck not to have such a great talent on the field. That's aways the case when a stud player gets hurt. Once again this is the NFL. Perhaps you should watch table tennis instead.
  8. While.i have faith in Dalton being a quality starting QB, and good leader. There is Ero reason to pull Byrce. He's not in over his head. He needs to play, and learn from his mistakes.
  9. So Fitts should be fired for drafting a shut down corner. Not a take I would have expected even from the huddle.
  10. The biggest disappointment to me was the fact we took the ball out of Young's hands in the red zone, on that first drive. We could have taken the early lead, and controlled the tempo of the game. The safety was playing shallow due to no true deep threats, so he was in better position for the interceptions. While frustrating, am not concerned. Young will figure it out. Our running game tooled stout. Burns showed that he worth the money he is asking for. Brown looks like a monster in this defense.
  11. Excellent take by the OP. Wouldn't read again.
  12. This thread is of no surprise. Over a soft tissue injury that is common when players start playing real games. Thank God the huddle never disappoints.
  13. Seems like you just have an axe to grind, but that's nothing new for you, Frank.
  14. Fitt doesn't even do the contracts.
  15. Since it's voted on by players ...it's not automatic.
  16. First time for this franchise. Like I said. Unprecedented.
