How is out top rated line coach, not holding his players responsible? Coach the man up, or move the fug on.

Conspiracy theory much?? I never said that Panther should sign Horn to an extension. Although if he balls out and stays healthy when he returns, it's a distinct possibility. If not, I'm sure some.other team will take the risk and sign him for mote money tha. The PA there are willing to throw at him.

When he hits the free agent market, he very well could be the most talented to hit Free agenc. Most CB's of his talent never hit the free market. So he could easily end up commanding way more money than most realize. I'm not saying we should extend him. Just spelling out the basic economics of the NFL Free Agency. So, yes, availability and timing are very important.

Hey Doc, you can say anything you want. Free country. Not sure what it means to still be saying that at this point though. Just being Honest.

I was actually thinking the same thing. Horn's ability is not in question. He IS an elite corner. The beginning of his career sure has been filled with some unfortunate injuries. The team still has another year with him no matter what. That means he still has time to show. Nobody on any Panther forum wanted to touch Thomas Davis after his past ACL. Most were calling him soft, and injury prone, which is what gets thrown around to any player who suffers more than 1 injury in the NFL, not most physically demanding, sport in the USA. ALL Davis did, was become one of the best at his position, and nobody ever called him soft again. There is a lot to like about Horn. I'm looking forward to him getting back out on the field.

Because he acts confident in what he's doing?

Enough time has passed - Feedback on the new playcaller
pantherclaw replied to Varking's topic in Carolina Panthers
Not going to judge him based on a single game. Will wait until the end of the season to even bother. -
The NFL is a very cruel mistress.

Anybody who's been around for a decade or more, knows my preference when it comes to running backs. Big, buisers that make a defender pay for being lazy or scared. Fans have been begging and screaming for an offensive minded coach. We got one. That means they prefer the multifunctional RB's. So they went and got the guy the coaches wanted. Pretty easy to understand. Sure wish our oline was playing better.

Looking good! Go Panthers!

Question for the Burns pocket watchers...
pantherclaw replied to CamWhoaaCam's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's been said that they aren't talking contract during the season. Not sure what all the, "every day that goes by.." crap is about. -
Why Trading Burns is the Only Path to Getting a #1 WR in 2024

Burns is staying. -
Certainly our most impactful, true linebacker.

The refs have no interest in protecting Bryce.

I'd rather not.

Amen.

I was thinking the same thing. The team played tough, never gave up, and it produced a win today. Good job Frank and company.n

That would be a good addition, if it didn't cost too much.

I agree with everything you said. While he wasn't polished in college, it's easy to see why the people who are paid for it, Like him.

Thomas Brown first game calling plays...
pantherclaw replied to CamWhoaaCam's topic in Carolina Panthers
You mean it looked like the offense that they collaborated from the beginning to put together, just another person calling the plays? GTFO. -
He was not a lidded producer he was drafted. I know fans hate hearing this, but guys do take time to develop.
