The Carolina Panthers are hurtling towards threats of relocation
pantherclaw replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
So the fact that the agreements includes a tether, means the team is threatening to relocate. Got to love the media. -
Should the Carolina Panthers extend Diontae Johnson?

You act so smart. He won't sign an extension now. Thanks for your condescending bullshit. -
Should the Carolina Panthers extend Diontae Johnson?

No reason to extend him before the end of next season. 1, he's looking to get paid, therefore he wants to perform well to maximize his pay day. 2, is a waste of time to even think about at this time. -
I'd pull that trigger in a heartbeat.

Exactly.

I'm not sure the punishment is even enough to determine this type of behavior by any team in the NFL. Basically, you can tamper all you want to in order to secure whatever free agent you want, as long as you're willing to part with a day 3 pick. Seems like chump change to me.

The pass rush has been my concern all off season. They have done nothing to reduce my concern. I expect Clowney to be ready, but the rest is going to be injured. So oh well. Maybe the offense will be fun to watch.

The BS people are willing to tell themselves is ridiculous.

I'm more willing to bet that Bryce could be a top QB and he'd still be trashed by fans.

Stadium improvements always drive up membership here on the forum. Welcome.

While I like the idea of that, would never happen. The reality is the stadium is 30 years old. It does need the renovation work done. I understand that the design doesn't appeal us old school folks, although there is no denying the stadium needs to be modernized.

Different teams different draft needs.

Cams footwork was atrocious.

Stopped reading when I realized you didn't even read the post you quoted. Why the fug even bother to respond if you Don't understand what was said in the first place.

Losing Cam and Luke plus our lines not being well stocked at the time hurt. Talent gathering is always easier said than done.

Good/great players definitely help any team compete at a high level.

Every Superbowl winning team enjoys luck of the bounce more than once on their journey in that season to not only get them to the playoffs, but also to the superbowl.

Every QB needs an offense built around him. There isn't a single QB in the league that doesn't have an offense built around them. That's how you make the most out of any and every QB, is build a team around him.

Cam was a generational QB. One that didn't even see his full potential. Now you're claiming we won't be good until get another generational QB. Incredibly flawed thinking.

The very point I was originally making.

I am excited... although. Ore along the lines of cautiously optimistic.
