Pretty sure Gettleman wouldn't sign a washed up, nothing in the tank player. Thanks for the lack of thoughful posts though.

Very smart, qualified, proven player. Will excell in the zone defense the team prefers to run. Will also help continue to develop our young guys. If signs a Gettleman contract, I fail to see the downside of his addition to the team.

I have often thought on this subject. I do know most teams draft boards have multiple players at same/similar values. I also know how the team values players, often isn't the same as most fans. So after careful consideration, I conclude that the GM that swears by BPA, will always draft BPA. According to their board, said player was BPA in their minds. Why would a GM lie about BPA? I believe the suggestion that they would lie is just a convenient excuse one comes up with so they can fathom why their team drafted a player they didn't expect, or value as highly. Keep in mind, we're all humans, prone to making mistakes from time to time. This includes GMs and the personal that help set their board up.

I promise, if Gettleman trades up to draft a player, that player will be BPA, or the trade wouldn't even happen.

For the right player, I'm sure Gettleman would have no problems pulling the trigger, as long as the cost of the trade is fair. That being said....Speculation, Speculation, Speculation.

i definitely agree with ya. The point that i didn't mention, but will now, is that most fans want the next hottest coach that is coming up out of college. Until they have been a HC of an NFL team for at least 2 years, you really don't know how he'll translate to the NFL. Some ya don't need that long - Spurrier.

Gettleman has 9n been a GM for a couple of seasons, but he has been the director of pro personal with the giants for a very long time, During such time the Giants did add big free agents to help them reach their superbowls. This was covered in a past podcast. You're welcome.

Depends on what I've done while wearing them. at least 5 times, unless they are a pair I've worn to work, then depends on their overall oder and dirtiness, which varies with the weather. Typically twice, but sometume more, sometimes less.
