  1. The reality is the franchise hasn't had a true opportunity to get it's next franchise QB since Cam. It not as easy as so many are acting. The franchise took a chance with Teddy, which wasn't wasted. I still believe most just bought into the hype that we were getting Watson no matter what. The shock and brokenness is leaving those people literally hysterical and going crazy. We don't have to find our franchise guy this second. If the team likes any of these guys in the draft, then they do what it takes to grab him, and move forward. Another year with Teddy isn't terrible. May be a lot better than we think. The team is getting better, and we're still building this team. Far as I'm concerned, keep building the team.until ya find the guy ya can't live without, do what it takes to secure his services, and insert him into a talented laden team. Not the other way around.
  2. I don't believe this will happen prior to the draft. They may be making a backup plan to the draft. Or maybe regardless of the draft, if we can cut Teddy. I'm also not one that believes Darnold is toast. Very few QBs throw to the wolves make it. He's young, and still a talent. Therenis potential there. I wouldn't want to give up a pick higher then a 4th this year. A conditional next year is better. He'd be coming into a pretty good situation here, and it wouldn't stop us from pursuing another QB if he doesn't work out.
  3. Any team wanting a QB behind us will be offering up more than we'd offer up to move up 1 spot. Simple draft economics.
  4. Unless some team makes a sweet heart deal for 7, Detroit should stay there and pick a player. If ANY team wants to jump us to get a QB, we'll be out bid easily.
  5. If I were a falcon fan, I'd kill myself. No reasonnto go QB unless they really love whom is left. Continue to build their team. Left tackle, or even Pitts.
  6. Who cares. We have one of the best pass rushers in the league, and in case ya haven't noticed, the Panthers are trying to create more pressure. Without it, we won't win.
  7. KK has never showed me he's lazy, or.mails it in. I get the sentiment. It's very typical when a player doesn't play up to our expectations. He's a good player, the coaches know him, and our team wouldn't bring him back unless they felt he could help us. I'll never expect a huge season out of him like his 10 plus sack season(which aren't typical of DTs anyways). I do know he's more than capable of making an impact on defense.
  8. I honestly don't comfortably know enough about our coaches and GM to make a guess. I know I'd make Zach Wilson happen, and wouldn't look back.
  9. I'm not sure why this guy would pick the Panthers.
  10. Before Homles? Roethlisberger was the last gunslinger to have much success in the modern NFL. Even his game is more game manager. I want a quarterback that can make all the throws, accurately, and willing to push the ball downfield to take advantage of coverages. I really don't consider that a gunslinger. Most gunslinger will struggle to have a completion percentage of 65% I prefer higher than that.
  11. Is this even a serious question?
  12. Drew Brees was a textbook game manager. So is Brady for that matter. Who wouldn't want Brady? I bet every Panther fan would love to have a QB as good as Brees was for the majority of his career. They also tend to be more consistent winners here at the NFL level. Gunslinger tend to lose more games unless they have a more solid team around them.
  13. I'm not sure I trust your opinion on cookies.
  14. Never read the books. Just enjoying the show. From a very early ago (young teenager) I changed my perspective when it came to shows and movies. Before then, I like most people, would be overly critical of anything I watch. I learned not to buy the hype of any advertising/trailers. Then I asked myself. What is the main reason for shows and movies? To be entertained. That's it. Being overly critical just takes away from enjoying the show movie. Yes, it's easy to be critical of a transformers movie, as their plots leave a lot to be desired. Yet, I still find them entertaining. Pacific Rim (the first one) was easy to just check the brain at the door, and be entertained. Anyways, I really didn't intent to go down this rabbit hole. My point is, most shows that people are critical of, I still find enjoyable. I.E. Waterworld. I am not a Kevin Costner fan. He is full of himself, and not nearly the actor he thinks of himself to be. He's in a lot of good movies, so I've had to watch him way more than I care to. Plus the movie bombed at the box office, Not covering the cost of production. Yet I thoroughly enjoy the movie. In fact, any time it's on, I'll watch it if I have the time. It just one of those movies for.me. 5th element is another. Neither movie would I put in my favorite movies of all times, I just find them fun to watch. The Expense is very easy to sit down with, and enjoy. It strums my Sci fi strings very well.
  15. Yes, because that is their desires and goals! fuging ignorant trash.
  16. I didn't try the expanse out until this last fall, and had it all watched by the end of January. The last season was a heart breaker. Looking forward to the next.
  17. Not a single one of you are capable of having an unbiased conversation about any QB.
