  3. The Washington Post's Nicki Jhabvala reports the Commanders offered the Seahawks multiple picks across the next three years for Russell Wilson. Commanders GM Martin Mayhew has been trying to get an upgrade at quarterback in Washington for quite some time, but the swings and misses are piling up after failing to land Matthew Stafford last year and Wilson this time around. With Wilson going to Denver and Aaron Rodgers sticking in Green Bay, pickings are looking slim for a team desperate for a new signal-caller. Perhaps the Commanders will look to Jimmy Garoppolo or Carson Wentz, but those are clear and obvious downgrades from Stafford and Wilson.
  4. Aaron Wilson said it's a 2 horse race for Deshaun Watson - us and Washington
  5. Malik Willis would be perfect for the Seattle offense. At #9 and with all those extra picks they could easily jump ahead of us at #6
  6. Aaron Wilson of Pro Football Network, they remain interested in Watson but could face competition from the Washington Commanders if the player’s sexual misconduct allegations are resolved. “The Washington Commanders and Carolina Panthers remain interested in Watson, per league sources. As much as the Texans want to trade Watson, they realize that the criminal justice system and civil litigation move slowly. And perhaps the list of teams will grow exponentially if his legal problems are resolved favorably.” https://catcrave.com/2022/03/08/carolina-panthers-two-horse-race-deshaun-watson/
  7. MARTIN MAYHEWGM, WASHINGTON COMMANDERS The Washington Post's Nicki Jhabvala reports the Commanders offered the Seahawks multiple picks across the next three years for Russell Wilson. 8. Two weeks ago, a claim from the Purple Daily podcast connected the team with Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins—alleging Carolina made an inquiry into the three-time Pro Bowler. But Jonathan M. Alexander of The Charlotte Observer has sniffed out some opposition to that particular account, writing that the Panthers didn’t think much of the purported interest. “. . . while there were reports that the Panthers inquired about Cousins in Minnesota, two sources said that call never occurred,” Alexander notes. “The coaching staff and front office were actually in a meeting when they heard the news and laughed it off.” https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/2022/03/08/panthers-vikings-qb-kirk-cousins-trade/
  9. CHRISTIAN MCCAFFREYRB, CAROLINA PANTHERS ESPN's David Newton reports the Panthers would "consider" trading Christian McCaffrey for "a first-round pick and another player without a big salary cap number." It would be quite the move after the Panthers gave McCaffrey a massive contract extension last offseason. Head coach Matt Rhule in January said he "fully expects" the oft-injured McCaffrey to be on the team's roster in 2022, dismissing trade rumors that have circulated for months. CMC has missed 23 games over the past two seasons with a variety of injuries that have effectively sunk the Panthers offense. McCaffrey would be a $26.6 million dead cap hit in 2022 if Carolina parted ways with him, making a trade nearly impossible. The Panthers' best hope is for CMC, entering his age-26 season, can stay reasonably healthy in 2022. General manager Scott Fitterer said in January that McCaffrey could be used more as a slot receiver in the Carolina offense.
  10. Broncos acquired Russell Wilson and a fourth-round pick from Seattle in exchange for QB Drew Lock, TE Noah Fant, DT Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks, and a fifth-round pick so now we know what Deshaun Watson trade will look like would you do something like this if you were Scott Fitterer ?
  11. Good for Haason Red-dick he bet on himself and won
