  1. John Lynch confirms Panthers request to interview DeMeco Ryans -per Dean Jones
  2. ESPN senior NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler: “As the logic goes, the Panthers knew they had [Steve] Wilks as a prime candidate with a defensive background, so they went heavy on offense with the rest of the pool,” Fowler writes. “Wilks has a solid offensive staff to sell David Tepper, to be sure. But multiple people I’ve spoken to around the league think the young coordinators have their advantages for a QB-starved franchise. Frank Reich is interviewing for the head-coaching job but could end up a strong coordinator candidate.”
  3. OC replacing UFA Bradley Bozeman and the soon to be released Pat Elflein
  4. UPDATED: Interim HC Steve Wilks (interviewed) Former Colts HC Frank Reich (interviewed) Former Colts HC Jim Caldwell (interviewed) Eagles OC Shane Steichen (requested) Lions OC Ben Johnson (requested) Bills OC Ken Dorsey (requested) Giants OC Mike Kafka (requested) Cowboys OC Kellen Moore (requested)
  5. SCOTT TURNERC, WASHINGTON COMMANDERS Commanders fired OC Scott Turner. Turner's offense finished 28th in offensive DVOA in 2022. He again was weighted down with a bad quarterback in Carson Wentz, one that forced the Commanders to turn to Taylor Heinicke yet again. Turner's offensive philosophy is not a bad one and he finally had enough wideouts to stress the defense this past season. He could resurface elsewhere in the NFL as an OC soon enough, but someone had to fall on the sword for this offense after three years without an empirical breakthrough.
  6. Played 34 total snaps pretty impressive If we don't re-sign Bozeman and decide to cut Elflein Cade Mays could be an option at C next season

  10. 17. RG Austin Corbett: 47.8 18. TE Tommy Tremble: 47.0 18. TE Ian Thomas: 47.0 20. LG Michael Jordan: 35.7 21. QB Sam Darnold: 34.9 Darnold finished with career-lows in completions (five), passing yards (43) and passer rating (2.8). Although Jordan scored the only touchdown of the game for Carolina, his 25.6 pass-blocking grade drags him down towards the bottom. He allowed four pressures on 20 opportunities.
