So far this offseason we've been making practical, intelligent decisions and not splashy moves like previous years. Signing Brissett over the likes of Garappolo, David Carr or trading for Lamar Jackson would be a very wise decision.

Draft a QB in the 1st round and sign this guy: QUARTERBACK: JACOBY BRISSETT 2022 Team: Cleveland Browns 2022 PFF Grade: 82.6 Brissett was probably better than even the Browns expected him to be in relief of the suspended Deshaun Watson across his 12 starts, finishing the season with the sixth-highest PFF overall grade and the 13th-highest PFF passing grade among quarterbacks. Brissett might not be the quarterback to lead a team to the Super Bowl, but he is a perfect bridge signal-caller for quarterback-needy teams in 2023 https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-underrated-2023-free-agent-every-position

We've tried this already it hasn't worked just take a QB in the 1st round and let Reich develop him. When is the last time we took a QB in the 1st? Cam? it's been a while

BRIAN JOHNSONCS, PHILADELPHIA EAGLES ESPN's Adam Schefter believes Eagles QBs coach Brian Johnson will be promoted to offensive coordinator. This isn't a done deal, but Schefter said on 97.5 The Fanatic "you can basically take that to the bank" when discussing the likelihood of Johnson's promotion. It makes sense for all sides involved, as Johnson has been instrumental in Jalen Hurts' development over the last two seasons, and has a relationship that dates back to Hurts' childhood. Schefter also notes Johnson's meteoric rise in the coaching world, saying he "would've been handed at least six offensive coordinator jobs" around the league if the Eagles didn't promote him.
