THOMAS BROWNOC, CAROLINA PANTHERS
NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports the Panthers plan to hire Rams assistant head coach Thomas Brown for their offensive coordinator vacancy.
The details of the deal have yet to be worked out, but Brown will officially be a Panther in a few days. Brown interviewed with four other teams for offensive coordinator roles and even got a call from Houston about their head coaching vacancy. Brown is the latest in a long line of Sean McVay proteges to be poached away from the Rams. He will join Frank Reich in Carolina as the franchise attempts to find a long-term solution at quarterback.
