  1. Also Mike Lombardi said a few days ago that if he was running the Panthers he would take Charles Cross #6 and trade for Baker Mayfield as a 1 year rental
  2. Of several Baker Mayfield suitors, the Panthers have the inside track to trade for him (sorry Robby Anderson!): Browns Insider https://www.cleveland.com/browns/2022/04/of-several-baker-mayfield-suitors-the-panthers-have-the-inside-track-to-trade-for-him-sorry-robby-anderson-browns-insider.html
  3. JAlexander from Charlotte Observer said he would be shocked if we took Pickett at #6 so we call all take a deep breath now
  4. You can see why the trade back option is so appealing to Fitterer we would only be getting 1 immediate impact player all the other picks would be projects/depth pieces.
  5. Carolina Panthers RD. (PICK) NAME, POS., SCHOOL 1 (6) Kenny Pickett, QB, Pitt 4 (137) Joshua Ezeudu, OT/G, North Carolina 5 (144) Isaiah Thomas, Edge, Oklahoma 5 (149) Terrel Bernard, LB, Baylor 6 (199) Jalen Nailor, WR, Michigan State 7 (242) Cade Mays, OT/G, Tennessee
  6. Baker is a asshole he used to beat up his college girlfriend. I know this because I met her back in 2019 in Santa Monica, CA I met her and her friend Riley at The Bungalow both were drunk and high and she showed me pics of her and Baker on her cell
  7. BAKER MAYFIELDQB, CLEVELAND BROWNS NFL Network's Ian Rapoport believes the Panthers are the most likely landing spot for Baker Mayfield. In Carolina, we could see Mayfield compete with Sam Darnold in training camp -- the battle America needs and deserves. Rapoport also mentioned Tampa as a potential destination for the disgruntled Cleveland quarterback. With the Bucs, Mayfield could pull a Mitch Trubisky and serve as a backup until more appealing starting gigs open up in 2023. Whether he's good enough to seize those starting jobs is another question entirely. Mayfield struggled through various injuries in 2021 -- including a torn labrum -- and regressed from his solid 2020 campaign. His days as the Browns QB are over after the team sold out to acquire Deshaun Watson from Houston last month. The Seahawks have been linked to Mayfield too, though the team continues to pretend they're OK with Drew Lock as their Week 1 starter.
  8. STEPHON GILMOREDB, INDIANAPOLIS COLTS Colts signed CB Stephon Gilmore, formerly of the Panthers, to a two-year contract. The deal is worth around $23 million. Gilmore, the 2019 defensive player of the year with New England, joins a Colts defense graded by Pro Football Focus as 2021's eighth best coverage unit. Indy could have one of the league's top secondaries with the addition of Gilmore and veteran S Rodney McLeod, who was signed by the Colts this week. Gilmore, 31, graded out as PFF's No. 7 coverage cornerback last season in a terrible Carolina defense. At full strength, the Colts defense will be a tough matchup for opposing quarterbacks and pass catchers.
