  1. I'm thinking all of these players either make the final 53 or the PS (Graham-Mobley, Spencer Brown, Sam Franklin)
  2. The NFL surely would like for the Bills to cut his rapist ass
  3. DENZEL MIMSWR, NEW YORK JETS The Athletic's Joe Person reports the Panthers "have called about Jets WR Denzel Mims." Mims showed some promise as a rookie, going for 357 yards in nine games. In his second season, he was completely phased out of the offense. Mims totaled just 133 yards in 2021. If a trade isn't worked out, it's likely that the Jets simply cut him before Week 1. Mims posted a pair of 1,000-yard seasons under Panthers head coach Matt Rhule while both were at Baylor. Carolina is also dangerously thin at receiver behind D.J. Moore and Robbie Anderson. The familiarity makes Carolina an ideal landing spot for Mims, though he will remain off the fantasy radar no matter where he ends up.
  4. MATT ARAIZAP, BUFFALO BILLS Bills P Matt Araiza has been accused of rape in a civil lawsuit filed in California state court. Araiza is accused along with two other players from his alma mater San Diego State. The alleged incident took place last October at an off-campus party. It is an extremely disturbing allegation, one that will draw an NFL investigation.

  6. OT Ikem Ekwonu, No. 6 pick, Carolina Panthers Ekwonu, the first offensive player selected in April’s draft, has had some very good moments … and some teachable ones, as well. That’s not shocking at all, given his age and position. The best news: His movement skills and power are absolutely showing up. His technique and general refinement are the areas where there’s plenty of work ahead. In terms of a pure talent, though, it looks like it’s all there, as Carolina hoped. Ekwonu beautifully reset and recovered against Washington’s Montez Sweat, early in his first appearance at left tackle (which was off the bench), showing good feet and a willingness to work through the whistle. His hands were erratic, however, which led to problems as the game wore on. There were reps when Ekwonu’s punch simply missed, too, and other reps where he landed a punch but didn’t follow it up with anything. Great examples of where he’s at right now came from a pair of lead-pitch plays in the New England game last week. The first was perfect, with Ekwonu showing everything about how well he moves, before landing a strike into the chest of DB Jonathan Jones. But when Carolina went to run the same concept later in the game, Ekwonu was standing straight up on his lead pull, which allowed safety Kyle Dugger, who smartly read the play, to beat him to the punch and knock him off his feet. Ekwonu had some trouble with finish and footwork in that game. He’s also improving. He gave up a sack on third-and-long against speedy Patriots edge rusher Josh Uche because his first step was nowhere near deep enough, given the opponent. That looked better later in the game, as did his ability to pass off stunts inside. He simply needs to keep playing. But the things Carolina liked about Ekwonu at N.C. State have been there early.
  7. Officially cutting LB Khalan Tolson and CB Duke Dawson from injured deserve with settlements.
  8. Surprise guy to make the roster his year: Arron Mosby, versatile player who can play LB and EDGE
  9. Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey couldn't say enough about how Sam Darnold has handled losing the starting quarterback job to Baker Mayfield. "He's been somebody from the inside looking out, who has to take a lot of crap from a lot of different areas. He hasn't said a word, shows up every day, does his job, focuses on what he can focus on and controls what he can control. It's admirable . . .I have nothing but respect for him.'' David Newton, ESPN Staff Writer21m
  10. shame about Dawson he was pretty good
