  1. Nope. Chargers traded up for Leaf. Picks package was almost identical to our trade-up for Bryce. But we threw in our #1 WR.
  2. Very similar in terms of production and what they gave up (2 firsts and a second), but losing DJ Moore (which led to us reaching on XL) is the candle on that poo cake.
  3. No. This is literally a playoff caliber team with a mediocre QB. You don't get a team with Defense, Special Teams, and a running game like this very often. We're going to squander a very good team because we insist on starting a munchkin at QB.
  4. I can't believe that the other QB options on our roster are actually worse. I'll say again. We had Baker. And Darnold. At the same time. And kept neither.
  5. We are so screwed at QB. Trade deadline is over. There's no one decent in FA. And I have no confidence that we would be willing to spend a high draft pick on a QB (which BTW, I'm not advocating for). I can't believe we had Darnold AND Baker on this team and didn't keep EITHER!
  6. No. It's the second quarter. We have to be down so we can have a game winning drive. This is the way.
  7. Why bother? They won't let him on any of the rides.
  8. I really like what I see from LaNorris Sellers. Dual-Threat QBs seem to be a commonality among the best teams in the league. He's got a big body, and I'm not saying I got shades of Cam watching his highlights, but I'm not NOT saying that. And honestly, I don't think you need to throw out the baby with the bathwater once we ditch Bryce. We've got a pretty solid and cohesive O-Line that is build to protect a mobile, scrambling quarterback. Might as well pick a QB who plays that way, rather than try to retrain them to protect a statue in the pocket.
  9. There's no way he's sold. I see a combination of coach speak and coddling when it comes to Bryce. Which is what Canales needs to do in order for Bryce to be successful enough for Canales to keep his job. But Canales has to be pining for a QB who doesn't need a perfect situation in order to overcome his limitations.
  10. This. If we don't get real fuggin' honest with ourselves real fuggin' soon, we're gonna end up like Miami with Tua, paying franchise-crippling money and inexorably stuck with a guy who has "shown flashes" but has serious limitations.
  11. Hey, Stafford got traded when he was still clearly a quality QB with lots of tread left on the tires. So this universe if the compensation is good enough.
  12. Well seeing as how I'm not a GM, I'm not going to trade for anyone. But we could follow the Rams model and do a QB swap plus picks. Lamar Herbert Mac Jones
  13. This. 2026 draft class is weak. And if any team REALLY should have learned its lesson on reaching for a QB in a weak draft class, it's us. We need to trade for a QB. I'd much rather spend multiple 1st rounders on a proven starter than roll the dice again on a rookie. Because that plan clearly hasn't worked out.
  14. This K situation is so awesome for the first time in a long time. We have a long kicker. We have an accurate kicker. We have a rookie kicker. This guy could be clutch for us for a long time!
  15. I think we were sandbagging Rico last week. That was a losing proposition. We had to save Rico for a game where we had a prayer.
  16. With a QB, we're in the conversation of the wild card team that division winners fear playing in the first round.
  17. He is like, Cam-level single-handedly dragging this team to victory
  18. Get you a moist slice of 100 passing yards, 1 Int victory pie!
