Not keen on Tampa's OC, don't know a lot about him but they didn't exactly have a dynamic offense this year.

There was one season where Rhule was the coach that CMC went out early in the season and never returned. I think at the time they said it was an ankle injury and we really never got any kind of update on what kind of injury and any progress. Anyways, I will always believe once CMC got that big daddy contract and Rhule and Co. arrived he decided to peace out urged on by his model girlfriend. They wanted West Coast not Charlotte, NC.

who played their last game for the panthers today?
Rocky Davis replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't think Gross-Matos will break the bank and I think the dude played pretty damn hard. Some of the players that we all want gone are not FA or RFAs so unless we can dump them they'll probably be back. Bryce has to be told he has to get comfortable taking snaps from under center because otherwise he won't work out as an NFL QB....we are way too predictable and it's stupid even trying to run the ball starting 5-7 yards behind the LOS in the NFL. -
As for Burns, tag him if he doesn't want to negotiate. If he doesn't sign he can sit at home and we retain his rights. Teams don't look kindly on the type of player who will sit out and pout over a fair deal. He'll have to come back after not playing and not get paid as much on a "prove it" deal and I have doubts unless he is opposite a real disruptive DE that he won't be able to generate $30M+ contract #s.

CMC didn't want to be here....he sat his way out of Carolina. You don't see him missing an entire season for San Fran do you? Fug CMC.

“Keep a close eye on Belichik to Carolina”
Rocky Davis replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't think he is overrated, he just needs solid coaches around him and stability. I do believe that he should retire though and isn't what the Panthers need. -
You were close.....

Quite the game, damn if Washington doesn't always make a game interesting. They keep playing with fire and haven't gotten burned. I want them to beat the snot outta Michigan though....I don't like the idea of a program that blatantly cheated winning a Natty.
-
I was surprised Washington ran the ball like they did, I feel bad for the kid....hope he is OK.

Classic Washington game ......

How did Auburn not get Bert to come kick for them? Big miss for the Tigers.

For both the ACC and PAC 12 it was about the potential revenue split being lower with 12 teams in. I don't know what the Big 10 was thinking. Anyways, shortsighted and you're right it did cost both conferences.

Actually refreshing to see them pick it up, that push was after the play was done and didn't affect the outcome. Following the rule book though it technically WAS a block in the back, but there is no consistency with these refs now.

He got up on the fade, actually jumped a little early. Good hang time!

This kid Trice is bringing it. He is playing hard and that is just firing up the whole team. He usually disrupted a lot of plays, but he's getting home tonight.

Why the hell can I watch this game and know they need to put a lid on Odunze, but Texas's defensive coordinator or coaches can't figure it out?? This is like watching a Panthers game....are coaches that damn stubborn?

If Washington and Penix play anywhere close to what they are doing so far, Michigan has a huge problem on their hands. Their secondary isn't made to keep up with a team with this much skill and speed. Is Michigan's d-line top tier? They will have to pressure and contain Penix.

It's the way it always works isn't it??

I don't think the curb stomping they took at the hands of a full Georgia team (no healthy players opting out) should detract from their season. It was unfortunate that Travis got hurt and even their second string QB got concussed. They got snubbed and the players entering the draft or the portal decided it wasn't worth showing up. Should they have, yeah I believe all these players on FULL RIDES to college should play, but again $$.
-
I agree that Bama wasn't undeserving, I just think that Oregon and Georgia were better. This all would be moot if they could have gone ahead and agreed to implement the 12 team playoff this year, but you know $ and wheeling and dealing comes before sanity.
-
No disrespect meant to your Tide, but that was one of the weakest Alabama teams I've seen in a long time. They got lucky against Auburn and Saban and Co. game planned well for the Georgia game. As @kungfoodudesaid Georgia didn't have an elite QB (and yes Stetson Bennett was an elite college QB), and Bama took advantage of it and still only won by 3. The Alabama brand and losses by Oregon and the whole FSU fiasco was what allowed them to slide in, but don't fool yourself...the elite Tide teams that we remember would have rolled Michigan today and you see what happened. They play Georgia 5 times, Georgia beats them 4 outta 5. Saban and Co. better find some speed again because to me that's what they lacked at WR and in their secondary.
-
Yeah, that kid was going to FSU but Primetime got him to flip - Hunter. He's the real deal and was a safety outlet for Sanders.
-
I think Sanders has some natural talent, but he is very raw. What Colorado players are even rated highly in this draft?
