Turner was fine on his first contract, he got that second deal and promptly stopped giving a fug. If he truly wants to continue his career then he'll sign a "prove it" deal and play well...for at least that year or two. If he is fat and happy with what he's already made he's done....stick a fork in him and please don't bring him back. These types of guys should never get guaranteed money, hopefully FOs know this by now.

I agree that the defense was better down the stretch, especially our d-line getting pressure on the QB. We still played a lot of soft zone as to not get burned. Hopefully some upgrades in the secondary and to the LB corps and another year of experience for the D-line and we will be "decent to good" in 2021.

I agree that our defense was not very good at all and we basically played hoping to "bend but not break" the entire season. I, like DaveThePanther2008, think that Brady would have fared about the same as Cam did in 2020 with the Pats. As I said, maybe 9-7, 8-8? Brady knew what the Pats were going to be and he made his exit. I am not on here saying Cam is 2015 or prior Cam....he clearly isn't. I am happy that he has found a place to play for another season and has another opportunity. He gave up a lot for this franchise and I am pulling for him to have a good season.

They were top 10 in scoring defense, yards given up, blitzes, blitz %, QB hurries, and QB hurry %. They were middling in average depth of targeted defender and bottom third of the league in QB knockdowns, QB knockdown %, tackles for loss and sacks. If the defense was so good it should have been able to at least win a game or two for them...instead they finished 7-9. Looking back at the WRs the Pats had from 2003-2006 I would take the Troy Browns and Deion Branches over Byrd and the no names Cam had last year. So yeah... you are right that New England's defense was better than I thought. We can agree to disagree about what kind of supporting cast Cam had on offense. Not a knock on your post, but you are a rude ass misspelling mofo.

I wouldn't go this far. I think he is a late first round QB in this year's draft and would be in other drafts as well. I think he's a 2nd round QB historically, but in the 2021 draft he is definitely a first rounder.
