  1. I just hope we don't keep missing wide open nets. It should be at least 2-0 if not 3-0. Let's go!
  2. Just seems Burns is not in sync with our PP at all. I hope with more games we get it together.
  3. I am actually watching Seattle's feed of the game and as much as I like Forslund I am really getting tired of all his Ron Francis ass kissing.
  4. I am not saying Robbie is bad, he didn't have a great year catching the ball last year, but he produced in his first season with us. I just think he may be WR3 on the Cardinals because of Hopkins and Green both knowing the playbook more. It's possible they use him as a deep threat if Kyler can get the time to throw it. I only dislike how he acted toward the fan base and yesterday's complete meltdown. He's getting paid huge $$$$ and he needs to be able to act professionally, especially on the sideline WITH his teammates and coaches.
  5. He'll be doing it as WR3 in Arizona. I mean it's possible, but it is also possible he still isn't satisfied with the targets he gets there. I am sure he will be motivated to play harder and prove the doubters wrong. He needs to because after this year I don't think he is guaranteed any $$....I may be wrong.
  6. Honestly, if we could find our "franchise" QB and a good TE our offense would look pretty good now (without McAdoo as the OC). The defense would need to be "fixed" more than the offense. We have to pair Burns with another DE who can rush the QB and hold his own in the run game. Let Shaq walk or restructure his contract. I like Luvu at LB, but we need another solid LBer. The secondary other than Horn and Chinn is what bothers me the most. We'll let Henderson walk unless he starts playing lights out under Wilks the rest of the season and to me signing DJ to that extension was a mistake. He's not a CB1 or 2. Unless someone comes at me with VERY good to CRAZY offers on CMC, Burns, or Brown I don't trade them.
  7. To be fair a large majority of the league had red flags all over Trey Smith. With that being said, sometimes in those late rounds if a player who has shown real talent has fallen due to injury concerns you go ahead and take a chance and hope that they can heal and overcome whatever medical issues they have. You won't win a lot of these "roll the dice" picks, but my goodness it's better than selecting a long snapper.
  8. Yeah his actions yesterday gave the Panthers no leverage whatsoever in finding a trade for him, especially without retaining salary. I guess a nice "fug you" to the Panthers.
  9. Damn we actually got 2 picks for him. That's a W.
  10. We basically got Robbie off the team and off the books. Unless our scouting department gets miles better than what it has been and lightning strikes, that late round draft choice isn't going to be anything of value unless we can package it with another player a/o draft pick. As for Robbie: I understand he was frustrated, but he didn't handle it well at all. He already lit into the fan base and then he blew up his Panther career (which I am sure he cares nothing about).
  11. Wow Action Jackson did something on a poo throw by Stafford. He'll be yapping about that for awhile, meanwhile his azz is still going to get cooked 90% of the time.
  12. Robbie is butt hurt that Rhule isn't there to protect his azz. He has quit on this team and needs to go...like yesterday. Fug him.
  13. Always said I didn't want Jackson back.....all mouth and nothing to back it up. He's a below average corner. I have no clue why we paid and retained him. I said he could walk. No one will like to hear this, but Henderson is better than DJack and the way he's played that ain't saying much. Both the DJack and Ian Thomas signings were about as dumb as it gets. If it was Rhule who wanted them back then fine....he's gone, but if Fitterer thought it was a good idea to bring these bums back then he needs to be fired too.
  14. I'm old so watched the game this morning. It did remind me of a lot of last years 2-1 or 3-2 games where the O couldn't find the back of the net. Glad our D played well and our forecheck was good. Necas has had the start he needed, really glad to see it. Would like to see a few less passes when one of the boys has a clear shot. I love a "pretty" pass and goal, but to pass up a clean shot isn't always best. I know we all don't trust Raanta as much, but he played with a lot of heart last year in the playoffs and I give the guy his due. I hate the soft goals he gives up, but Koochie needs a solid year in the AHL to really be NHL ready. Goalies are like defensemen....it takes time. Good W, keep them coming. Let's Go Canes!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
  15. Yes, interesting to see Chatfield starting over Coghlan. Don't get me wrong I think Chatfield is a fine 3rd pair defenseman, but I like what I've seen out of Coghlan especially as the PP2 QB. Also, I guess Rod doesn't trust Drury or Noesen yet. I would rather see them on that 4th line than Marty.
  16. Jaycee got that dog in him like Blackshear!
  17. Dude, Tepper ain't playing 4D chess. If he was that smart Rhule would have been gone at the end of last year. Tepper gave him another offseason to fug us good.
  18. I think it will be closer, but no way with our offense should we beat the Rams. Of course, who knows WTH the Panthers will go off and do to fug up a top 2-3 draft pick next year. PJ certainly is more of a RPO QB than either Baker or Darnold.
  19. Nothing is guaranteed in this league. CMC just makes the Bills even more dangerous. I am not supporting trading CMC at all, just saying that if the Panthers retained salary on CMC's deal they probably could get two firsts (the Bills knowing they would be low 1st rounders) and AT LEAST a 1st and 2nd in different years.
  20. If we retain salary they would. CMC probably puts them over the top.
  21. Joe Brady was a scapegoat for Rhule. We actually scored and had an offense when he was here. He deserved a lot better.
  22. Dude, did you watch Cam's years here? He was the reason Rivera won as much as he did and Ron and Co. dialed up so many of those runs because they knew Cam was almost a guarantee to get what the team needed because Cam always put 100% into it.
  23. CMC is earning his contract this year IMO. He has played with a lot of heart and is the reason we can even get into field goal range at this point.
  24. Yeah, his height might be better suited for this offense. He has to have absolute confidence in the O-Line though, otherwise those happy feet will lead to a lot of INTs.
