Just asking why you should be "flattered" (sic)? The ACC as a whole is maybe the 4th best football conference and Carolina and Clempson both are mid this year.

Thinking we won't lose tomorrow!

Committing to the run more would keep opposing defenses a little more honest. They are teeing off on pass rushing BY and our offensive line has sucked in pass protection all year. Our o-line is more suited to the run game and having more runs (that have some creativity) would also take some pressure off the o-line when a pass play is called. These guys are back on their heels trying to cheat to pass protect better - Ickey is the biggest example with all his false starts and take a look at his balance during pass plays, it's terrible. If they want to continue to be a pass heavy offense he isn't a LT, he's a LG. If they can balance the run/pass Ickey probably can be the LT, but his confidence is shot at this point. Our run game is so vanilla it's pathetic, where is the offensive genius of Reich and Brown?

Hey I asked you to put some $ down for me? Did you miss it? C'mon man I gotta pay the rent! You could have taken a commission out.

Protest on Mint Street this Sunday at noon
Rocky Davis replied to Lame Duck's topic in Carolina Panthers
Stop going to the games, sell your tickets for what you can get for them, don't buy any Panther merchandise. I am sure billionaire Tep doesn't care, but when your stadium is mostly empty of Panther fans and when bad teams play the worst team in the league it's not a good look. Neither is having a stadium full of Cowboy, Packers, and maybe Falcons fans. Tepper knows this team is fugged up, does he care enough to try and fix it and stay away? -
2023-24 Regular Season(non canes) thread
Rocky Davis replied to Panthers Fan 69's topic in Carolina Hurricanes
Dude is lucky, that looked terrible. Glad he was able to get up and go off on his own. Damn! -
Just got to watch this game at 2x speed - really disappointed in the team. They didn't bring their A or B game, some players played pretty well but overall just not what I expect from the Canes. Orlov plays better with Skjei I think. I also think he's still trying to figure it all out and it does take some time in Rod's system. I honestly think Drury should be packaged at the trade deadline for hopefully a solid goal scoring threat - if there is one worth it. I want to see Suzuki or Pono rather than Drury at this point when they get healthy. Svech is still getting his timing back, it'll be awhile. Just don't want to see him go down with an injury to that same knee, coming back sooner than expected is a double edged sword....can get back into game shape quicker, but there that risk of injury. I have this weird feeling that this team is going to under perform this year, just a gut feeling and I hope I am extremely wrong. On to the next one.....
-
That's why I said they have to go do something else.....neither are football savvy. If it's never going to happen then you are damn right....I'll be in the ground or an urn before this team is any good again and damn that sucks for me.
-
I see both sides of the BY argument: A #1 pick who is a QB should be able to help elevate his team to a certain degree BUT when you have such a terrible head coach/OC/offensive line with no real game changing skill players it's probably difficult to do much of anything. If this isn't really what BY is all about he should just say fug it and start audibling to whatever play he wants even if that gets him put on the bench. I'd rather see him try to push the ball downfield on his own accord than sit around and follow 90s Reich and clueless Brown's play calling. Someone in the organization also needs to chew out our offensive line for being a NY turnstile...Moton included.
-
It's the whole offensive philosophy, trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. Reich and Brown don't know how to adapt and that's a condemnation on their skills as coaches. Evero is running his preferred 3-4 defense with a lot of 2nd and 3rd stringers who don't necessarily fit what he wants to do, but at least he has them playing at a decent level. Reich, Brown, Fritt gotta go. Then this offseason we gotta tear it down and the Teppers have to get outta the way.
-
Still advocating for Tepper to use some of those billions and get Beane back and let him do what needs to be done - and for the Teppers to stay the fug away from any football decisions. Go and pick out game day giveaway bobble heads and food items to bring in for the concession stands.
-
I don't know man, this offense is pretty damn brutal. I think the race is neck and neck.
-
Frank needs to be gone and if Brown can't adjust this offense he needs to get to steppin' too. What the hell happened to Campen? I know there are a lot of injuries on the O-line too, but is it the scheme he is being asked to coach? I thought he did a good job last year....this zone blocking scheme ain't it with all the offensive duds we have. I swear we are back to Teddy Two Gloves checking down the entire game. Chuba plays really hard, looks like Rhule's wife would be a better GM than Fritterer. Sanders has had flashes where he's shown some heart since he's been roasted by the fanbase. Mingo and TMJ can go fug themselves....don't finish routes and even run the wrong ones. I won't be watching anymore of this clown show. I'll follow what's going on, but I am not going to watch high school level play calling anymore. Like someone said earlier, detonate this team down to the bare studs and do a rebuild....no more of this bandaiding BS.
-
OMG can someone at least make this offense bearable? So damn stubborn - clearly something needs to change on the offensive pass protection scheme and we need receivers who finish their routes.
-
I swear this offensive line/TEs need to be made to hold blocks for 15 minutes at a time during practice.
-
I can't agree that the D has been trash all season, they are keeping us in this game tonight and other games have been closer than they should. Don't get me wrong, it's not an elite D or anything but they all seem to be playing hard.
-
I understand what you are saying - the NFL is a no lose proposition. The Panthers could be more valuable with better ownership is what I am stating.
-
The Panthers have some problem children in the locker room and it's being carried over to the field. TMJ, Burns (not playing), Chark (not playing) all guys who in my opinion are not giving it their all. Then we got the lost boys: Mingo, Ikey I gotta hand it to Evero though, he is coordinating a depleted defense and they are playing hard.
-
TMJ is a JAG
-
Yeah he does.... The one thing I have actually liked is we aren't waiting until 1 second is left on the play clock.
-
Chuba needs to be a damn Captain. He gives af.
-
I swear to the good Lort Almighty if we don't throw the damn ball down the field in the 4Q someone's arse better be out on the street tomorrow. This is MORE THAN RIDICULOUS. Hell, I am old asf and I think I could actually be a better traffic cone and not hold better than these overpaid fools. I've had it...
-
I really think the team needs a 1st and 40 to get motivated.
-
Actually, you could maybe get a .500 team.......maybe.
