  1. Your take here is bad @kungfoodude Have at 'em for being (most likely trash NFL QBs as we'll probably never truly know), but both of them like The Golden Calf of Bristol were very good college QBs. Hell, both Fromm and Bennett could throw the damn ball better than the calf.
  2. Oregon just showing up to collect that bowl paycheck!
  3. You may be right as Georgia's D should completely shut down FSU's offense and turn them over as well. The interesting part of it all will be if any key players from Georgia or FSU decide to sit it out. FSU's defense could keep them in the game if some Georgia players decide to sit out and FSU players don't. They'll have to have their QB be a game manager only though.
  4. Totally agree. Bama got a nice boost from Georgia being a very good team and to a lesser extent LSU and Ole Miss being pretty solid as well. Washington same deal with Oregon being a top 10 team and Oregon State and Utah being decent. I guess also having USC, UCLA, and Arizona all being mid helped too when they are all playing each other. Anyways, as John Fox always said "it is what it is."
  5. Not totally sure about that, but that was my first reaction as well. Georgia vs. FSU will be interesting too. The CFP committee will not want to see the Noles win that one.
  6. I hear everyone on FSU and I'm not a Noles fan, but in the last year of the 4 team format the CFP committee should have FSU in. They were damned if they do damned if they don't, but FSU won every game they played no matter the situation. I don't know why everyone thinks Michigan and Washington are so great. The Pac-12 teams don't play defense, like, at all. Washington was able to outscore Oregon (twice) and all the rest of the Pac-12 teams and really didn't have any real tests non-conference. If Texas doesn't crap the bed they beat Washington. Michigan and Ohio State are basically similar teams and whoever wins that game goes against whatever team comes out of that weaker division they have where teams don't have offenses. Big whoop they shut out Iowa who averages less than 19 pts per game or something like that. Ohio State was the only real challenge on Michigan's schedule and Ryan Day can't coach himself out of a paper bag. Michigan is going to find out when they play Bama and in a way I think the committee put Bama 4 just for this reason. The other "holy hell" is dropping Georgia 5 spots for losing to Alabama.....was that loss THAT BAD? WTF The SEC and Big30 are expanding at the right time because if they had done it this season Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Michigan, and Washington would all be in very different situations. I think ESPN would love that tasty Texas/Bama rematch...IMO that's what they want, and the NCAA would like that too because those teams will absolutely fill a stadium and bring ratings.
  7. I agree with you. I just think with Boo and Jim Grobe on the CFP committee that an undefeated FSU team will not be left out. Bama, Texas, and Georgia fans going to be sitting on the edge of their seats. It may come down to quality wins and strength of schedule because Bama will say they beat Georgia and Texas will say they beat Bama and Georgia will look at both Bama and Texas and say y'all lost during the regular season....
  8. Honestly if FSU was whole right now with their starting QB and the way their defense is playing I would have them giving Bama and Georgia a tough game.
  9. I don't think Michigan is THE BEST team in the country. I think it's probably either Georgia or Alabama at the moment.
  10. Definitely this. I see arguments for Georgia, Alabama, and Texas. I do not for tOSU.
  11. they get punished for losing in their conference's title game....gotcha!
  12. They also didn't lose during the regular season like the other 1 loss teams did!
  13. and Georgia is probably better than three of those teams for sure.....
  14. They've watched the Panthers Oline too much......
  15. If one could dream I wish Tepper would back a couple of Brinks trucks to Ozzie Newsome's home and bring him aboard as the President of Football operations, hand him the keys to BoA and say "it's all yours Ozzie, do what needs to be done, I fugged it all up and I am going to let you and the people you bring in decide how to fix this poo show I created." I know, it's a pipe dream....can't understand why Tepper can't see why he needs to stay out of the football ops and stick to his hedge funds. Those billions built a big old ego......
  16. Anyone talking about another team around the greater Austin area needs to understand that as long as Jerry Jones has a pulse it ain't happening. He wasn't happy about Houston getting their franchise back as the Texans and there was some wheeling and dealing behind the scenes about Dallas retaining TV market rights/shares for a certain number of years around the Houston area. Anyways, I don't think the team is going anywhere. We are in the lowest of lows that most of us can remember, but I'll say this: I am glad my home state has an NFL team - nothing stays the same forever.
  17. I think Evero has done an admirable job with the defense with basically the entire secondary and a lot of our defense hurt at one point or another. Deuce is a good RB coach, I think he's helped Hubbard have a little more attitude when he runs. I am not sure about Sanders, although I think he's playing hurt and for that I give him some credit.....CMC didn't play when "hurt." I believe Mingo is making some progress as WR and Thielen has played well, I don't think Chark is in the right system to help us and TMJ is a child so not sure about the WR coach.
  18. He does have crappy footwork, it's something that he should and the coaches should already recognize and should be working on. Not sure that he can't see the field because he typically doesn't have a lot of time to go through his progressions without having to figure out which way to run for his life. Throw in the fact that his receivers aren't getting separation and that's a bad combo. Thielen was his outlet most of the season and the Titans doubled him and took him away. If the Panthers were smarter they probably could have had Thielen clear out underneath the corners/linebackers and had the RBs and TEs catch passes underneath all day. I saw maybe two such plays. I am not sure of his arm strength. He's made some throws that take a good amount of strength, but really I haven't seen him have plays where he really needs to rope one from one hash to the opposite sideline. I do wonder what his arm strength really is.
  19. I don't personally feel like he needs to be in there, if anything he'll get killed by the end of the season behind this patchwork, garage sale offensive line we have. I have no problem with him sitting....at all. I just haven't passed final judgement on him as an NFL QB because of EVERYTHING that has happened to this team this year. So many injuries, not the greatest collection of offensive talent....etc. etc. I almost think he should have just been the backup this year. Whoever made the choice to take him (and it looks more and more like it was the Teppers), so it is what it is....can't blame him for everything is all I am stating. Bad personnel, bad scheme, coaching that doesn't adjust to what's happening at least offensively and here we are.
  20. Dude, you are literally beating a dead horse. We get it, it's all Young's fault. This entire season was ruined the minute we drafted him. We can't be objective and fair, Bryce sucks plain and simple and is dragging this team down. We need to just cut him right now and roll with Dalton and Luton backing him up. (I think we got Luton back?)
  21. so what you are saying is that the Commanders and Giants actually game plan around their suckage?
  22. I swear Donte Jackson is pretty well done now since his injuries. Never was CB1, but was a serviceable CB2. He may can play the slot?? Maybe...
  23. Second double move of the season for the Panther's offense.
