  1. Dude is looking for the contract he can retire on. I don't blame him, but I think he's overestimating his value by a bit... like tens of millions of dollars in guaranteed money.
  2. Strong draft class and free agent class. Dear God... letting Reddick walk was a monumentally stupid decision.
  3. Yeah I think I first jumped on back around 2005ish. Ghosted for a solid 10 years because the place became intolerable. Right now I think it's doing ok. Should break down into anarchy again within about a year I'd say.
  4. I've been in the huddle on and off since I was 18. I am more than double that age now.
  5. The pencil neck interviewer looks like a greek god next to this kid. He's too small. Period.
  6. Hurney really did make the Panthers fanbase absolutely paranoid over the salary cap with all of his bad deals, especially in the John Fox days... I have never seen a group of people freak out over the cap and just instantly assume we are dead in the water more than this one.
  7. I just don't see it happening. Count me as a non-believer. I'm not overly thrilled about Stroud either, but he, at least on tape, appears to be extremely accurate and great at shifting around in the pocket. Brees-esque in the regard.
  8. This is a playoff team after the draft. 3 seasons is unacceptable.
  9. Depth and continuity are important on the O-line. For a reasonable contract it's well worth it to keep him.
  10. All of his flaws are coachable. What can't be coached is his raw talent. He has the best arm in this draft by a mile, and I'm not just talking about how hard he can throw it. Passes the eye test for sure.
  11. The Bears could theoretically pull in a massive haul of picks in this scenario. Potentially an extra 1st from Houston, then an extra two 1sts from us.
  12. If they do this and it's a miss, it's going to be a very painful miss...
  13. I'm thankful we have a pro football team in the Carolinas that I've spent most of my life being angry about. I'll leave it at that.
  14. I'm probably in the minority here, but I think we become one of the best teams in the NFC instantly if we bring him in and draft a stud receiver.
  15. I do not believe race had any factor in the decisions on who to bring in. The OC and DC positions, as well as assistant coaching positions, were all filled with very high quality candidates of varying racial backgrounds, and I don't think there were any other people who could have filled those positions much better.
  16. Aaron Rodgers makes this team a title contender, assuming his heart is still in the game. Wouldn't give up much to get him though.
  17. I'd rather kick the tires on Hooker in the 2nd. Hell, Richardson may fall the 2nd either way.
  18. If Andrew Luck or Cam Newton were in this draft I'd say yes. I just don't think any of these guys are worth selling the farm over.
  19. This coaching staff, on paper, might be the best the team has ever had.
  20. Are any of these QBs good enough to sell the farm to that extent though?
  21. My guess is he asked for release only after nippleshorts said no one's job was safe. I think he took it personally.
