  1. Yeah, seems like he'd have a few plays he knew well enough to contribute on...
  2. First and Foremost...Great Win! Is Royce Freeman having issues that aren't being disclosed as to what's keeping him off the field. And I'm not sold on Hubbard yet. I thought we should've keep Anderson.
  3. NOTE: I edited my post due to spell check. I agree the defense could've played a little tighter towards the end but unlike the previous regime, we held tight enough to win. I would've like to have seen us go man with a contain when Jets started using play action to roll out.
  4. Yes, Shaq played ball... he was all over the field making an impact.
  5. I agree the defer bar could've played a little tighter towards the end but unlike the previous regime, we held tight enough to win. I would've like to have seen us go man with a contain when Jets starting play action.
  6. We should at least marinate in a Win for 24 hrs...
  7. It was Horn that gave up the TD pass. But they both played very well, feeding of each other.
  8. I was concerned last year and our goal line offense is still an issue.
  9. I respect your opinion. I'm just looking forward to our FO putting the best Panthers on the field...
  10. I've always felt that PJ would win the backup QB job...until this Pre Season. PJ throws has no touch at all. Grier seemed to have outplayed PJ this Pre Season.
  11. I see, I don't know anything about him. I know we've given Sly time to improve. At least we're doing more than looking...
  12. Trying to improve on one of the things, the previous regime got wrong...
  13. My question is: Why were there only 5 kicks for the entire practice?
  14. Luv this! When I first watched RA after he signed as a Panther, I thought he was too small and would get injured too soon. I was wrong. He's a tough dude with deceptive speed and great football IQ. He's not the clean cut image many look for but he's a Panther...
  15. Where was mine? I only spoke facts. Running an effective play during preseason games doesn't mean you're showing your entire hand, I'd settle for 1/2 a finger. My point is: running a play that moves the ball and or scores in the redzone during preseason is checking if it worked against other defenses other than ours. This is one the basic purposes of preseason games. A perfect time to try a play or two you like. Our redzone execution was terrible in 2020.
  16. Maybe you should view our kicking situation through the same eyes and stop overreacting. It's preseason and you don't believe in showing our hand...
  17. Teddy Bridgewater received mixed reviews about our goalline practices. I can't say that I didn't believe him, as much as it was hard to believe it was true. But 2 games in after that statement...well you watched them too...
  18. Obviously Sam Darnold's decision making, execution and accuracy. Redzone play calling and it's execution. Running game, young WR's and Defense...
  19. I'm looking to see what we do inside the redzone...
  20. All true but I have to believe that getting a young QB with NFL experience blends competing while building better than a rookie QB draft pick would, immediately at least. I can't lie though, I thought there was a chance we'd still draft Fields.
  21. I really liked Fields as a draft option for us. I believe that he could turn into a very good QB in the NFL. I also believe that our coaching staff believed that as well. I think they decided to go with Darnold because of his NFL experience and age. To be honest, it's a gamble either way, but I can't say that logic isn't in there decision and I'm not against it. I'm giving our coaching staff my full support through the ups and downs...
