Go look at tankathon. Winning next week will not drop us out of the top 10. Our weak strength of schedule helps us.

With tiebreakers it looks very likely we pick 9th win or lose next week.

I like Wilks. Just want an offensive minded guy in here. I thought that's what Rhule was when he was hired. Heck maybe he was. I still have no idea what his specialty was.
Rhules specially is BS artist. Nebraska fans have already bought in. Wilks is a good DB coach. Not even sure he is a good DC

How does that work?
SF goes to the Super Bowl you are getting the last picks in round 2 3 and 4 from the CMC trade. They lose in the first round you are picking 8 to 10 picks earlier each round.

Lets go Jax and SF.
My hopes for Super Bowl
Should be rooting for SF to lose in the first round. Better draft picks for the Panthers.

Wasn't he locked on Fields too and we passed. Let Fit do his job and if Levis is the guy so be it.

I'd take him as OC if Wilks stays. Great coordinator just not a HC.

Wilkes success will depend on his offensive coordinator selection. I hope he is more like McDermott than Rivera.

This is a losers mentality. We have to go out and stomp on their balls from the first whistle and never look back. If we jump on them like we jumped on the Lions and the Seahawks the refs won’t have an options to throw the game for them. Just all depends on what Panthers team shows up on Sunday. If we play like we have in our recent wins, sky’s the limit. If we play like we did against the Steelers it’s gonna be tough. But let’s be real here, the 4-10 Cardinals, on their 3rd string QB gave the Bucs all they could handle and very well shoulda won that game going away last night. No excuse for that game to go to overtime.
This. Curb stomp them and make the refs irrelevant.

Let's see what Ben Johnson does against us this week. He's another offensive mind I would seriously consider.

Bucs have the 'easiest' road. Cardinals are cooked with their injuries.
Bucs are cooked too. 7-10 may win this division.

This is an example of what I mean. Brugler who is very much in tune with a handful of FOs and different insiders speaks so cautiously of Penix. His notable sections are about how he wasn’t considered draftable before this season, has a long delivery and is a strider. There is clearly pause in the eval community, still though I think he’s looked great.
It's got to be his injury history. When at Indiana he never completed a full season healthy. He had two acl tears and a shoulder issue that kept him out. This is the first year he has stayed healthy. He also was very hesitant to run when he was at Indiana.
If you want to see him carve up a good defense watch his 2020 game vs. Ohio State. Looked much better than Justin Fields that game even though IU lost.

If he can bring someone like Reich in as OC I am good with it.

Michael Penix Jr. His only concern is injury history unless you don't like left handed QBs. He has a great arm and athleticism.

Add another QB to this list. Michael Penix. The only issue with him is injury history and he has stayed healthy this year. I would suggest watching a Washington game. He has a big arm (left handed) and is very accurate. Athletic enough to scramble but not a big runner.

Why do people keep saying this like they KNOW he’s going to be destroyed? He’s played in the SEC against big boys and has only missed one game(this year). He injured his AC joint and missed 1 game. He proceeded to come back the following week and throw for over 450 yards. He’s stayed healthy the majority of his career.
Also, in the NFL any size QB gets injured. Herbert who is a giant has dealt with injuries every year and he’s huge.
Draft the man. He’s small, but he’s Elite.
Cam was built like a DE and we all know the injuries he dealt with.

Just wait until 2026 when Arch Manning becomes eligible.

CJ Stroud is a better prospect than Fields. Panthers weren't the only team to pass on him.

Marvin Harrison Jr. in the first. He's the son of a Hall of Famer and has been footballing since he was in the womb. He's more physically imposing than his dad and is just as polished which shouldn't really come as a surprise to anyone.
Grayson McCall in the second. He's been consistently great, breaking Tua's passer efficiency record with a 207 rating, or 217, in 2021. He's thrown 70 touchdowns to 6 interceptions in his career. He's mobile, he's 6'3, he's accurate and precise, he's local, give me McCall.
Just because dudes are at P5's doesn't make them better, give them a higher ceiling, or make them more prepared to play than a guy like Grayson McCall who truly is one of the best QB's in the country.
Marvin Harrison Jr isn't eligible until 2024. He is the best WR in college though.

How about the clear false start missed by the refs on the Damiere Byrd TD.

The overall history tells us we scout the helmet if it's OSU.
The same thing was said about Texas Tech QBs in the air raid offense until Mahomes was drafted. I was not a fan of Fields but Stroud is a much better prospect than him. He can run too they just don't need to have him do that at OSU.

Levis is the toolsy guy playing well without a stacked side in a pro style offence against good competition. He will be QB1 when it’s all said and done the fine tooth comb comes out during draft season
You may not be wrong. I think he is the closest guy to Josh Allen in this draft.
