Marvin Harrison Jr. in the first. He's the son of a Hall of Famer and has been footballing since he was in the womb. He's more physically imposing than his dad and is just as polished which shouldn't really come as a surprise to anyone.
Grayson McCall in the second. He's been consistently great, breaking Tua's passer efficiency record with a 207 rating, or 217, in 2021. He's thrown 70 touchdowns to 6 interceptions in his career. He's mobile, he's 6'3, he's accurate and precise, he's local, give me McCall.
Just because dudes are at P5's doesn't make them better, give them a higher ceiling, or make them more prepared to play than a guy like Grayson McCall who truly is one of the best QB's in the country.
Marvin Harrison Jr isn't eligible until 2024. He is the best WR in college though.

How about the clear false start missed by the refs on the Damiere Byrd TD.

The overall history tells us we scout the helmet if it's OSU.
The same thing was said about Texas Tech QBs in the air raid offense until Mahomes was drafted. I was not a fan of Fields but Stroud is a much better prospect than him. He can run too they just don't need to have him do that at OSU.

Levis is the toolsy guy playing well without a stacked side in a pro style offence against good competition. He will be QB1 when it’s all said and done the fine tooth comb comes out during draft season
You may not be wrong. I think he is the closest guy to Josh Allen in this draft.

You read Joe Person's tweet and it became your thoughts huh
I didn't need Joe Person to know that.

I think Wilks/Holcomb should give him a call to take over at LB coach. I know Luke is close with Holcomb going all the way back to his BC days.

Be prepared to give up a boatload of draft picks if you're going after Peyton. New Orleans would ask for a kings ransom. No thanks!

Keep him, right now we are sitting at the #2 pick in the tankathon standings. He is a perfect tank commander.

Time for a little levity with this awful start to the season. This guy has Matt Rhule down pat from the look to the voice inflection. Hilarious!

I'm for keeping Rhule to the end of the season to make sure we get the #1 pick.

Sean Payton.
Not happening unless you want to trade all of our draft picks for a coach. Which IMO would be stupid.

Did they not realize their kicker was booming kicks from 70 yards and had a strong leg. They pretty much were In fg position after the bogus rtp call. Gotta go for the jugular and score a TD.

Good. If we are keeping Sam as backup we might as well cut PJ and roll with 2 QBs only.

Where'd y'all see this? My local broadcast was announced by Smitty and some guy who wasn't Smitty.
I got it on Hulu on the NFL Network broadcast. Kenny Albert an "Doc" the homer.

Did anybody else here have to listen to the awful Washington color commentary with the game on NFL network? I think his name was Doc and he acted like the game was the Super Bowl. He got so upset when the Panthers would score or make a good play. I found myself rooting for big play just so he would get pissed.

Actually he shaved off 3 according to the report.
Nice. Can we get Sam to take a paycut as well.

I think Baker will do well here. He shaved his contract so he's probably got a gentlemans agreement that if he does well this season we will give him the big bag.
He's getting paid the same as Sam. The Panthers are paying 5 mil and Cleveland pays the rest. He isn't giving us some kind of discount.
-
I still think the best scenario is trading Sam for Jimmy G straight up. San Fran saves 6 million in the process and has a backup for Trey. Wasn't San Fran interested in Sam last year.

So basically the thought process was “What would Marty Hurney do?”
Then do the opposite.
Solid thinking.
Hurney would have already given up next year's first.

Trade the rest of this draft to get Malik and call it a day. I am shocked he is still available. I would have been happy taking him at 6.

No offense because I am with you for an OT---but we going QB unless we make a splash in week 3 of free agency
Mayfield and Jimmy G are out there and there trade value is dropping like a rock. We may be able to get one for0 Darnold straight up or a 7th round pick.Panthers are being smart waiting them out. I would prefer Mayfield of the 2.
Justin Fields 61 yard rushing touchdown
in Carolina Panthers

CJ Stroud is a better prospect than Fields. Panthers weren't the only team to pass on him.
