It's a solid class for offensive onlineman. We are bound to find a good one if we go looking. Cross is a really good tackle.
-
You have to balance that with the talent around him. One of the same issues Josh Allen had coming out iirc (beyond his accuracy of course)

Tier 1: Pickett Willis Tier 2: Corral Howell Tier 3: Strong Ridder For me anyway

Every year around this time everyone says "this QB class is bad and we don't have a guy I would take in the top 10" or some nonsense. This class is fine, not as good as last year, but it has three guys with first round grades for me. Pickett and Willis clearly at the top.

Ekwonu is my 2nd best tackle, his versatility certainly helps.
-
They do like Sam Howell. It is a possibility. I think Howell will be a 1st round pick.

No idea yet. I imagine Steelers will pursue someone like Jimmy G.

Still too early to get definitive opinions about these guys, but this is what I could see shaking out at this moment. Eager to hear who yall like and don't like.

You make some valid points, especially the cap one, though I feel like you can credit that just to Hurney not being there. Part of the reason for the pessimism is what we have spent our resources on, it doesn't feel far enough from Hurney where they mess up. Trading multiple picks for Sam, picking up his 5th, extending Robby, all in the name of putting yet another budget patchwork offensive line is obnoxiously familiar and bad. I look at what Rhule has added to the roster and it's not much for me to get excited about, not yet anyway with the Horn injury. Plus the positives he did bring in (Reddick mainly) we likely won't be able to retain because of other absolutely awful decisions. You could back it up with coaching or team enthusiasm but I see neither of those things. He straight up does not excel in the in game coaching department, and this team almost always feels flat for no reason. The most surge we saw during the season was the week Cam signed, that energy went away as fast as it came in once we got clearly outcoached two games in a row. Rhule not only has failed to find a QB, he has failed to find a tackle, he has failed to find a guard, failed to find a center, failed to find an offensive weapon outside of CMC who was already here, and has failed to find anything but a gamesaving DC in Phil Snow. I guess it is just hard to feel fired up or look at it with any kind of optimism when the product you see on the field is as flat as any team we have seen in the Rivera era.

24/35 Completions, 279 yards, 2 total TDs 20/25 Completions, 242 yards, 2 total TDs Sam vs Minshew against the Jets.

Rhule is being so obviously outcoached and has made such putried roster decisions (Trading picks for Sam, extending Robby, Sam's 5th year option, etc) that it feels like a waste if he gets another year. It's not beyond saying that Phil Snow has helped Matt Rhule look a lot better than he is, and he still looks bad.

Person: Rhule could be next, but probably not this year

This still holds true. If we end up 5-6 wins he is gone. -
I have a list of coaches I have my fingers crossed should it happen. Ranked in order of who I would want most. Doug Pederson (Unemployed) (53) Lovie Smith (DC Texans) (63) Kellen Moore (OC Cowboys) (33) Josh McDaniels (OC Patriots) (45) Jerod Mayo (LB Coach Patriots) (35) Mike LaFleur (OC Jets) (34) No college coaches please, I want either a proven team guy (Smith, Pederson, Mayo) or an offensive wizard (Moore, Pederson, McDaniels, LaFleur). I do not care about age at this point.

Coaches: Saints >>> Panthers Qbs: Saints > Panthers Rbs: Saints > Panthers O-line: Saints >>>> Panthers Weapons: Panthers > Saints Defensive line: Panthers = Saints LBs: Panthers > Saints DBs: Panthers = Saints Ehh Saints full healthy seem much better.

We saved money in FA buy targeting bozo lineman so we could sign Robby Anderson to an extension and pick up Sam's 5th year. Top tier cap management and team building imo.

Would you be upset if Rhule left this week to go to LSU?
Verge replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
I would prefer it tbh. He can take Joe Brady with him. -
Cam is literally my favorite football player ever
-
Nothing on our offense is good right now. Cam included. Cam as a pro QB should be able to adjust to what defenses throw at him, he did none of that today and looked absolutely awful. Our offense line did not help, but a franchise QB overcomes things like that. It is time to face the reality of these things, Cam is no longer a franchise QB, we need to fix our o-line, we need to move on from our OC, we need to find better receivers, and we need a physical force at tight end.

Kickers/punters have not been on my radar but I will check him out lol

We are 5-6, we realistically need to be 9-8 to have a shot at a wildcard. Do you think with out remaining schedule we can do it? We would have to sweep NO and beat the Bucs at least one. @MIA vsATL @BUFF vsTB @NO @TB I think with the explosiveness we saw from Cam, and gettting healthier, we can make a push. I have a very hard time believing we will go into Buffalo and win, or sweep TB, but the others look largely winnable. All comes down to this teams perseverance, and coaching (unfortunately).
