I think he could go in the early 3rd. Has some real nice tools. Will stick in the league for a while.

Thank you for your valuable input as always.

here is my scouting report on Bryce Young https://draftwire.usatoday.com/lists/2023-nfl-draft-bryce-young-scouting-report/?taid=64021d101e76680001c5b7b4&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter

Yep. I have heard (like everyone else) that they are very aggressive in seeking the trade up.
-
I see the Bears fleecing someone before FA. Pay the premium to make it happen before then. My sense is that Indi obviously has the best shot of moving up and our ideal spot is Arizona. If we land on being okay with the top three guys it makes sense for us to move to three and let one of them land on us.
-
I don't believe that is true from my understanding. I think they are big on Young and Stroud. I am not entirely sure of their opinion on Richardson yet but I am going to do some digging.
-
It also helps there is no way he leaves New York

I am still doing reports on some of these guys but Off ball LB: 1. Drew Sanders 2. Trenton Simpson 3. Daiyan Henley 4. Henry To'o To'o 5. Noah Sewell TE: 1. Dalton Kincaid 2. Darnell Washington 3. Michael Mayer 4. Luke Musgrave 5. Sam LaPorta I think it is a very deep tight end class, a not so deep linebacker class.

I think they will try to go to one but be unable. I think they like the top three guys enough to jump to three, similar to the Goff/Wentz situation years ago when Philly went to 2.

BRAKING: Panthers plan to release Damien Wilson

More opportunity for Brandon Smith. -
I would think it would be before the start of FA. Depends on how Poles plays hardball. Some of the things he does on tape is ridiculous. He isn't on a great team and he looks like the best player on the field constantly. Is he a top tier rhythm passer? Not really, but his off platform throws, football IQ, and raw athleticism is worth investing in. He is built for the NFL and can legitimately be the next Josh Allen. I really don't think he needs a year or development either.
-
The reason we ask that is because of how long I have been doing this. If you have been around long enough you would know. It's not a click or reputation thing. There is no way on God's green earth Bryce is qb1? Lol I don't even understand that statement.
-
There is a less than 1% chance of that happening.
-
I don't get the sense the Texans would pass on him for Richardson, so I guess it ultimately depends who it taken number one.
-
We were never going to pay Carr that much. I think there was legitimate interest at the right price, but it realistically was never going to happen. If anything kudos for making the Saints rush and overpay for him.

Tanking the opening season with the coaching regime we have would be a really bad way to kick things off and leave moral corrupted to the point it may never corrupt. There are a lot of our coaches who already have their hat in the ring for a head coaching job next year, so even being just a bad idea in general, it would sit very poorly with literally everyone in the building.

I did an article on this actually! It went back two years. Hasn't been published yet but I believe it was 1. Lawrence 2. Young 3. Stroud 4. Richardson 5. Wilson 6. Fields 7. Lance 8. Jones 9. Pickett I flip flop on Stroud and Richardson a lot. It is a continuous development.

Richardson

Lol no it is not

1. I spend literally hours scouting these guys and come away with my own opinions. It is literally my job to do so and I have a few years of experience doing so. I have hits and misses just like everyone else. 2. How long have you been around? I have been doing this since 2012. I was pretty on point with most of the Watson stuff idk. Obviously we didn't ultimately land him but it's not like we weren't in the race until the last minute. If Tepper gave him that guaranteed money that Cleveland did he would be a Panther.

1. I will talk to my Houston beat writer and dig more into it, but they seem like a Stroud team 2. I think teams are mixed on him. There is a lot of risk in a 25 year old coming off a major injury from a gimmick offense, but he clearly has a nice skill set. I think he will ultimately go in the third. 3. I think that is a real possibility
